The workers was awesome friendly and the food was so good it was well seasoned and not dry the chicken was golden brown and when I took the first bite out of the chicken it was so crunchy new place to go too and cheap

Not sure about the other reviews but other then the cornbread muffin (was to dry for my liking) I think my food was great. BBQ chicken, string beans, cabbage cornbread muffin and a tea. Was priced right. First time having soul food.

Such kind people! I ordered the fried Swai and got yams and Mac and cheese. She gave me a little bit of the potato salad to try for free ???? the babies literally threw hand sanitizer on me, so that was quite an experience, but they were so cute hahahahahahah!!! The yams were tasty, the Mac and cheese was pretty tasty and the Swai was hot and fresh!!But, above all, the people are kind and from Detroit ???

Service was good. I got the fried pork chops with greens, Mac and cheese. I’m just going to be honest I wasn’t impressed. The chops were good but everything else was mediocre. Cornbread was too dry. Greens from can with a lot of stems, Mac and cheese was ok. I will try them again and try something different.

I was very pleased the food. I haven’t been let down yet. I have been getting the smothered pork chops the two times I went. Macaroni and cheese, string beans and collard greens. I will try something else next time to see. I love the raspberry lemon sweet tea.

Absolutely horrible experience! After suggesting this place to my partner,I sent him to pick up our order after a long work day and after waiting 30+ minutes they gave him fried chicken instead of baked,stating that they’d run out,instead of just telling him that at the time of order. I called and was told the plates would be remade due to the inconvenience.Next day he orders both our plates as told,waits 40+ minutes,only to be presented with ONE plate and told only one was to be remade despite both our orders being wrong! And they didn’t even bother to make the second plate he ordered instead of just telling him that upfront!!! Extremely poor business practices,poor time management,disappointing customer service and especially disappointing for me as a new mom who was counting on our orders. I’m embarrassed for recommending in the first place. Please save your money and your time.
