In my opinion this is a hidden gem in the middle of I-75. If you ever find yourself undecisive on what to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I highly suggest to give this place a try. Yes it's next to a gas station, but that doesn't take away the flavor. I had a barbacoa quesadilla as well as the Taco Chiles (Stuffed Jalapenos). Both were very tasty, especially when I added my favorite salsa in this place, a creamy cilantro salsa/dressing.Lastly, the person at the register couldn't be more friendly and accommodating to my questions and request to modify my quesadilla. Excellent customer service.I hope you get to experience this place and let me know what you think.Vegetarian options: If you want to make any dish vegetarian, ask and they may be able to do it.Parking: Since it's part of the gas station building, there is plenty of parking space.

The Birria tacos were absolutely delicious, and so was the broth, which made the tacos even better. The tacos themselves were loaded with tender and juicy beef, lots of cheese, cilantro, onion, with the juice soaked corn tortillas being fresh. Wish I had remembered to take a picture, but their food looks exactly like it does on the menu. This is definitely My go to whenever I'm in the area.

Chalo is a small hidden jewel. Its an Authentic Mexican cuisine full of flavors. I went to grab some Tacos with chicken as meat of choice. They offer flour or corn tortilla, but I always go with the corn tortilla. The tacos are packed with meat and flavor along with two salsa's of choice. Salsa Verde and another. I had to try their signature fries which was new for me. The chalo fries are dressed in cheese, BBQ sauce, and I believe Parmesan. Something so simple was packed full of flavor. The fries were cooked fresh and had the perfect crunch. I spoke with Andy whose the sweetest and helpful person I've met. He educated me on everything they offered and had a great conversation. I will be back and I encourage anyone who loves Mexican food to give these folks your support and you won't be disappointed. I don't have pictures because I devoured everything so fast! Until next time.
