“My wife and I heard good things about this place, which is nowhere from our home. What we heard was extremely right. The food was amazing. I have not had authentic jerk chicken very often, especially in Atlanta, but they got it right for sure. You can tell they grilled it perfect and well seasoned as well. The sauce that comes on the side was great as well, nice sweet and kick to it. My wife had the brown stew chicken which was cooked to perfection, meat was very tender and tasted amazing. Rice and peas was fresh and tasted how it’s supposed and not like other places where it is clumped together and dry. Service was great as well. My wife originally ordered Ackee and Saltfish but they no longer had any left so we were accommodated and given our choice of what we wanted. To top all of this off the food was served piping hot and fresh and this was at 8 pm. We will definitely be back regularly, I highly recommend this place. “Today was my first visit. I was craving some oxtails so, I literally searched for a place and decided to give this one a try. It was so good. I got eh oxtail plate which came with rice and beans, cabbage, and plaintains. My husband had the jerk chicken plate with the same sides. I wish I had got an extra order of plantains. The ox tails had good flavor and the jerk chicken. I am also got my first beef patty. I didn't know the consistency was a tad bit mushy but, it was good. Needless to say o couldn't eat it all and I am looking forward to warming up the rest later. Staff was friendly and courteous. I will revisit and recommend.“
“First let me say I have had the oxtails here for a very long time and they never disappoint. Today I ordered my meal on DoorDash and due to a misunderstanding I did not recieve part of my order. I called them directly and when I have done this at other restaurants in the past they tell me there is nothing they can do and to call door dash. But when I called island p they took the blame for the misunderstanding and then went above and beyond to bring me the rest of my meal. The food was still amazing and now I can say the service is as well! They have a forever customer in me .“
“Listen!!!! I wasn’t going to this place because when I called and asked if they had ox tail left(because most of the Jamaican restaurants in the area are always running out) the lady got smart and said what type of Jamaican restaurant doesn’t have ox tail.But when I got there the man in the front was so nice and polite!!! Ok let’s move on to the food! This is the first place in a long time in Georgia that I have went to and paid $30 for ox tail plate and got $30 worth of food and it was GOOD!!!!!!! I most definitely will return! I highly recommend you all visit them!!!!“
“Brown stew chicken from here is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before, so delicious!! I get it over and over again <3 I also like the curry kitchen. I order a small but the portion size is more than enough, especially for the price. The food is also always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is spotless, and decor appealing. I also meet the best people to chat with in the few minutes while I wait for my food, so that’s always great. I highly recommend this Jamaican Diner, so delicious!!“

“My father stopped in town (truck driver) and wanted something good and fulfilling. I’ve seen this restaurant multiple times as my dogs groomer is located in the same plaza. We had oxtail plate. The oxtails were so tender falling off the bone. The cabbage was very well seasoned. The rice and peas were cooked thoroughly. The plantains were good (only mad I didn’t order extra lol). I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. Staff very friendly and patient as we didn’t really know what we wanted.“
