The food is ok. It's missing something. I think it is missing seasoning like pepper...salt...mexican herbs and spices. However, the service was phenomenal, and because of that, i will return to try something other than the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, and steak tacos. We also got the frozen drink, and that was delicious. It was the Frozen Blueberry Cobbler rumchata. Husband and i both loved it, and for the price, it left a relaxing buzz in the heat.

Stopped by to grab some tacos, the young lady at the counter was somewhat helpful but I had trouble understanding the menu. I ordered tacos and corn but found out they were out of corn so I just got the tacos. There must be a problem with people sitting in the restaurant without ordering because a manager came out and asked me if I was waiting for an order (she got my name and confirmed my order). Anyway, the restaurant is clean and tidy and the food did come quick. The taco was okay but not earth shattering. l won’t be back.

When I venture out on the square, I love this place, best nachos and a great varitey of tacos with many choices for drinks and dessert.. one compliant.. BORING>>> no music is playing and it seems unhospitable for the atmosphere.. Play some music... or do some trivia music night.. My friends and I loved this.. the tunes made it more a comfortable place inside just eating out.. we can do that anywhere... lots of places to eat...

The Tacos have good fun flavors. A little expensive for Tacos. And we shared chips & salsa & queso. I think since it was my first time, it took me longer to look over the menu & find something I wanted. They came around d to the table to check on us, which was nice. It is one of our starred places for McDonough.

I've always heard Macon Street tacos were good for years and after so many years I finally tried it. Sorry I moved to NY for 8 years and finally moved back to the area. All I can say is the tacos are great for American style tacos. The portions are generous. And the service is awesome. They ran out of one item after we played the order and to make up for it they offered a refund and ice cream.

I’d never been here before but I tried (from left to right in picture) the teriyaki chicken taco, the pork al pastor taco, and the loaded Waco taco :) They were soooo good. The pineapple salsa and teriyaki aioli were amazing. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and patient. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. I highly recommend giving them a try if you’re in the square. We will definitely be back!

A big discrepancy on the menu what was advertised as price versus what I was charged. the el gringo nachos are listed as seven dollars with a description of your protein cheese lettuce tomato. I was charged an extra $2.50 for steak and the menu doesn’t say no extra charge for your protein as long as it’s ground beef. on top of that the portion was very sad $15 included a two dollar tip drink nachos with steak. I left there still just as hungry as when I got there. quality was great produce was fresh but it was also bland although the steak was tender had no real flavor Very disappointed to spend $15 and leave hungry even when I brought it to their attention mention that the menu says that this plate is only seven dollars. Customer service was OK actually would you say it’s OK if they’re not going to fix a discrepancy?
