“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant and we are very happy that it is close to home. We have lunch and/or dinner there two to three times a week. It is our go to for meeting up with our adult kids and for workers lunches. Everything is delicious and they have excellent lunch specials. Love this place!“
“Our food was so good! The service was amazing and the staff was so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be going back. I recommend the tacos de asada and 3 meat fajitas, & the molcajete. The Mango margarita was so good and smooth. Even the chicken nuggets were good!“
“In my opinion this is a hidden gem in the middle of I-75. If you ever find yourself undecisive on what to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I highly suggest to give this place a try. Yes it's next to a gas station, but that doesn't take away the flavor. I had a barbacoa quesadilla as well as the Taco Chiles (Stuffed Jalapenos). Both were very tasty, especially when I added my favorite salsa in this place, a creamy cilantro salsa/dressing.Lastly, the person at the register couldn't be more friendly and accommodating to my questions and request to modify my quesadilla. Excellent customer service.I hope you get to experience this place and let me know what you think.Vegetarian options: If you want to make any dish vegetarian, ask and they may be able to do it.Parking: Since it's part of the gas station building, there is plenty of parking space.“
“This place deserves Michelin Star. It is the best Mexican restaurant on the East Coast. If you drive through Atlanta you shall definitely visit it (then you can also use 23rd to detour around crazy ATL traffic, cause the place is close to 23rd and there is less traffic around). The food is amazing, the service is great. The owner is a nice gentleman, cheering the guests everyday and running the place himself. Also, if you like spicy food, ask them for their special salsa! I've been traveling around a world for a while, and it is the best spicy salsa I've tried (always get one to go, too).Parking: It has big free parking lot at back side, with plenty room, easy to drive in from street (very straightforward and convenient). Wheel chair accessible too. The place is popular and food is so good so be mindfull cause it gets crowded fast.Wheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.“
“My first time visiting was on Super Bowl Sunday. The service was amazingly good and the food was delicious. The bartender (Fabian) customer service was top notch and I could not have made a better choice.I highly recommend and will continue to visit“
“First time at the establishment while visiting my family in town. Ended up sitting at the bar with my sister. The bartender Ana was really welcoming and attended to us in a timely manner. She made us some of the best margaritas we’ve had. I would definitely recommend that you get a skinny margarita or a strawberry margarita. And you have to try the steak nachos. Would definitely be coming back for the great service and atmosphereParking: Many spots available“
“We started out at Cheddars, but it was a 2 hour wait !?So, we decided to fulfill our appetite at this place…Glad we did !We had the Fish Taco, Shrimp Taco & Chicken Nachos. All of it was great !!Although it was really busy, our waiter/server (Jose) was fabulous !!?????“
“The service was great. I went for a birthday and the party had the wait staff moving. They did an outstanding job in my opinion. The food was hot and pretty tasty. I had the Enchiladas Verdes but they forgot my salad. Please be aware when you order a drink be clear on the size as they automatically give you the medium (22 oz.) for $18.99. They have a smaller drink for less.“
“The Mexican restaurant delivered an exceptional experience with its delicious and authentic flavors. The vibrant ambiance complemented the flavorful dishes, and the attentive service added to the overall positive dining atmosphere. A great choice for those seeking a satisfying and enjoyable Mexican cuisine experience.“
“We visited for dinner on a Saturday night. There was no wait. We were immediately seated by the host and acknowledged by our server. The host came back within a few minutes with chips and salsa. Our food was really delicious, as were our drinks. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Really Great service! I came in and ordered food to go so i had a drink while waiting. My food was out before I finished my margarita! Which was really good and nice sized! I got the birria tacos and an order of the steak, chicken, and shrimp queso. Food was really good. The tacos were nice and plump! They weren't stingy with the meat at all. I definitely plan on going back.“
“My mother has been going here since we moved to McDonough, YEARS ago.The food is always good and the staff is super friendly. Now my younger sister is also obsessed with them.Whenever I hear "I'm going to get burritos" I know what's up and I know I want one. LolAlso, idk why, but all the plants make me feel at home. ?Parking: You can park in the gas station parking lot. They're connected.“
“My FAVORITE taco spot! I’m from Los Angeles and these are the best tacos I’ve had since moving to the south 6 years ago. I’ve been searching for authentic Mexican food and this is as close as I’ve found! It would be amazing if they could add Carne Asada Fries to their menu lol :)“
“This is my second visit to this Mexican restaurant. This visit we came on a Saturday around 6:45pm and had to wait about 10 minutes. Menu has a large variety - there were several things I wanted to try.I got the grilled chicken with pineapple which came out like sizzling fajitas (Yum!) lots of grilled onions. It came with a side of rice, lettuce / guacamole/ tomato mixture (very little guac, almost non-existent). Definitely could’ve used more guac but overall it was still a good dish. I also ordered a corn tortilla taco à la la cart, which was delicious. Two of our party ordered a burrito, which was very good - one had steak the other had a steak and chicken mixture. Covered in cheese sauce. Skinny margaritas was enjoyed. The chips & salsa are very good,It take a bit of time to get serviced 1 to place our order and receive the food. I chalk that up to it was very busy. Overall, I do recommend eating here!Dietary restrictions: I am Gluten and dairy free and find plenty of choices for me!Parking: Plenty of parking“
“Good basic Mexican lunch with a pretty standard menu. They have decent draft beer selection served in cold mugs. I'm a fan of any Mexican restaurant that has draft Dos Equis Amber and they do. Stopped here for lunch and ordered off their lunch special menu. I had the combo enchilada and a beef taco served with refried beans. All good. The beef taco was very good. They also served complimentary chips and salsa. Chips were tasty, warm and crispy. The place is very comfortable with a large number of comfortable booths and a very nice bar. Service was quick and helpful. Next time I'm in the area, I'll try some other dishes. Good value, good food.“
“The food was amazing. The drink I had to ask for an additional shot for, which was a hennessy margarita, but our waitress was very accommodating. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but overall, I would definitely recommend ?“
“This was my first time here. I got the shrimp burrito with medium salsa and chips. It was delicious! I lived in LA a few years ago and confirm that the burittos are the closest to the real thing! I ordered online and did not have to to inside bc I chose curbside pickup. There are no pictures because I ate it so fast.“
“Food was awesome... Service not so... I'll chalk it up to a waitress in training. I'd rather have good food with bad service than bad food with good service. Melissa was unattentive to us and did walk-bys. Not once did she ask did we need anything; only if we were " good" and would walk off before we could finish chewing to answer. In fact, had to grab another waitress just to get napkins. We did tip $2.. $1 for each time she walked by. She didn't ask if we wanted dessert, just brought us our check. Fried rice cream would've really hit the spot. So, we took it as it was time to go and left the waitress that was more attentive a bigger tip. Great food though. I just wish we would've had a better experience.“
“I made my first visit to Taqueria El Crucero yesterday after doing a quick search for good Mexican restaurants near me. I'm really glad my intuition was right.I was greeted upon entering the restaurant, which is a very simple gesture, but not everyone values it, so I'm glad this was part of my experience. I ordered several Tacos + Rice and Beans and una Torta con Chorizo.Everything was delicious (plus my appetite was pleased), so I highly recommend this amazing restaurant & their really kind Team.“
