Food was excellent. Service was slow. It took about 15 minutes for our waiter to appear. However, he was very nice.

Our recent visit to Red Lobster left us with mixed feelings. Firstly, we were blown away by the exceptional service provided by Jordan, our waitress. She was not only attentive but went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. Her warm smile and genuine care for our satisfaction made us feel truly valued as customers. Jordan effortlessly anticipated our needs and provided recommendations with enthusiasm, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the evening. However, our excitement dwindled when we received our food. The shrimp dishes were disappointingly dry and overcooked, lacking the juicy tenderness we had hoped for. Additionally, the rice was undercooked, leaving it with an unpleasant texture. Even the salad, a seemingly simple dish, lacked flavor due to the absence of dressing. Moreover, the sweet tea was nearly pure sugar, overwhelming the palate with its sweetness. While the outstanding service from Jordan was a highlight of our visit, the subpar quality of the food and overly sweetened tea left much to be desired. We hope Red Lobster takes steps to ensure consistency in both service and food quality to provide a more satisfying dining experience for all patrons. Jordan's professionalism, coupled with her personable approach, undoubtedly sets her apart as a shining star among Red Lobster's staff. Her dedication to ensuring every guest leaves with a smile is commendable and deserves recognition. It's employees like Jordan who make dining experiences memorable and keep customers coming back for more.

Had it give it 1 star to leave a review. Saturday night we went to long horns got turned away at 9:30 went to red lobster was told 30 min wait, awesome no big deal! We waited for a hour. One whole side of the restaurant wasn’t being used they had plenty of seating but wouldn’t sit us, a group of folks came in asked if they could be seated the host said idk you can try. I was mad at this point, my fiancé was already mad, I was keeping him calm then I looked over, 2 waitresses were sitting at the bar drinking. So we stood up and left I was no happy, I’ve never ate red lobster and will never visit this one ever again us and the group of people that come in looking to be seated went to chilis they were packed we were seated within minutes! Drink orders were took, and food orders. Food come out in maybe 10 mins food was great service was amazing! Don’t go to red lobster go to chili’s instead, I can only image the service at red lobster with the waitress sitting at the bar. GO TO CHILIS NOT RED LOBSTER

We rarely go out to eat since the prices have risen to ridiculous heights. However, today was our son's 44th birthday, and we wanted to celebrate it. He wanted to go to Red Lobster in McDonough, GA, because it used to be so much better than our local one here in Douglasville, and my brother (his uncle) lives near the one in McDonough. Some people talk about a bad hair day; this was a bad restaurant day.My wife is highly allergic to perfumes and will go into seizures when she gets around them. We asked for a half booth/half chair table. We were told they only one they could sit a meeting RL was having with employees took up table space. Really?!?! A meeting taking up table space during lunch hour. UGH!!Where they first sat was next to someone whose perfume was making my wife sick.We asked to be moved, and we finally were after much bickering and dealing with the manager. Finally, we could order, and things went well until we saw a roach crawling on the wall beside our daughter. I know it happens, but seeing roaches crawling around is not very appetizing. We explained that we were not staying, and the server said he would be right back with the manager. I waited a few minutes, but neither returned, so we left.Poorly run business and bug-infested.The rest of this bad restaurant day will be found in the reviews for Longhorn Steakhouse in McDonough.

Food is horrible and taste like freezer food, biscuits half done, lazy waitresses that barely check on you. Horrible waste of time. Place needs a good deep clean and table was dirty I had to ask a waiter to come clean

Starting out our day we were told there was a 30 to 35 minute wait. We understood it was Valentine’s Day. The weather was nice so we sat outside and waited and waited. A very nice couple came up approximately 15 minutes after we did and after approximately 40 minutes, they were seated. When we checked with the receptionist, she was unable to find where we had signed in. She couldn’t find our name and explain to us that the couple that had been seated ahead of us requested a table. if you request a table, does that mean that you get to go ahead of people who’ve been there for 15 to 20 minutes. We were unaware that you had to request a table to be seated. The food was very tasty. Some of it got cold long before it was finished, waiter was very good did a good job was very helpful but after having sat for close to an hour in the sun, waiting for a place to be seated and having someone seated ahead of you it really puts a stress on your visit. I don’t know when or if ever I will , go back to red lobster and if so, not the one on McDonough Road.
