This place is incredible. I've had something different each time and it's amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It's as close to fine dining as you can get in McDonough. Worth every pennyVegetarian options: My partner, who has many, many various good allergies, has never once had a problem eating her.

We decided to visit here on Sunday for brunch because the menu looked interesting. We had to roughly wait 10 minutes for our seats, but could've sat down sooner if we choose outdoor seating (too hot). The inside is kind of small, roughly 12-15 tables, so generally a wait and they were short staffed. We always try to order a few different items to sample different things. We ordered the cinnamon roll and oysters to start. The cinnamon roll wasn't warm or soft, as when you generally think of a cinnamon roll. The oysters had a great taste, but they were super small. As if they took a oyster an cut it up multiple times then placed it back in the shell. Our main meals, the wife ordered biscuits and gravy and I ordered the chicken and biscuits. The portions was huge, but the biscuits wasn't nice and buttery biscuits, when you think about biscuits. They were more of a rectangle piece of bread. The gravy and chicken both had a great flavor profiles.

Had the pleasure of dining at Starshines on Mcdonough Square. Delightful casual atmosphere, both inside & on the patio. The menu offers something for everyone, all fresh and made to order, small plates, creative pub-style and designer cuisine. Our meals were fabulous, all freshly made with bright & unique flavors & pairing combinations. They have a terrific staff who are well versed on the menu and provide excellent service. - No need to fight traffic into Atlanta for a wonderful dining experience! You can get it right here in Mcdonough! So nice to have this local family sharing their talents within the community.

I have previously enjoyed their food as take out. This year I went here with my husband for my birthday dinner. We had a few drinks at the bar before dinner and the bartender was great, very knowledgeable and seemed to like what she was doing. The food was delicious. The inside dining is small, but felt like an intimate ambiance.

My favorite restaurant in the county. The food, the staff, the service, everything is excellent. The menu changes seasonally, so there is no getting bored, but also enough of the favorites remain throughout the year in case you're the type who likes to stick with your favorite dish. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner.

Beautiful location. Excellent food. Good service. The lemon blueberry French toast was to die for. And the breakfast tacos were scrumptious. Going halvsies helped balance the sweet & savory.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The food was great. We had the tacos and burger with fries and some mimosas. Everything was very good . The waitress was very friendly and engaging. We are at the outside beer garden area and it was very relaxing and we loved the environment. We parked on the street and it did not take us long to find a spot. We will definitely come again when we are in the area

This establishment is very nice with good vibes and great staff. The Eggs in Purgatory were presented nicely and tasted great, especially the sausage. I will say that there was too much lime/lime juice in the tomato base and a tad too much cilantro. It overpowered a bit much but was otherwise good. I wish the sourdough was slightly more toasted as well.

We had a great time as we ate outside. Even the rain held off until we finished eating. The service was pretty quick and polite. The mimosa tray was awesome, particularly the spicy rimmed one. Can't wait to try some other items next time.

The atmosphere was chill and very nice music.Food was very tasty and plentiful. But the service was great!! Our server “Savannah” was on point with knowledge of the food and her suggestions were taken and we loved both dishes. The lemon curd blueberry French was awesome (wife had). But the chicken fried chicken on a biscuit with egg an sausage gravy…..?????Definitely recommend this place an it’s service.

StarShines Cafe is an excellent addition to the local dining scene! From the moment you step inside, the warm and cozy atmosphere welcomes you with open arms. The staff is friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The menu offers a range of options, from classic comfort food to inventive twists on old favorites. No matter what you order, you can be sure that your taste buds will be delighted. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the presentation is always lovely.Their desserts are out of this world. I particularly enjoyed their browned butter pineapple upside down cake. They are always perfectly baked, just the right balance of sweetness, and insanely delicious.Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a full meal, StarShines Cafe is the perfect choice. The prices are reasonable, the service is top-notch, and the food is consistently good. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

My family and I went here for Mother’s Day this past Sunday. They were out of almost everything. I asked the waitress why didn’t she tell us before we sat down? She got very smart with me and then sent another waitress over to her. She gave of racist vibes to me when she got smart but when she sent the other person over it proved it in my opinion. I made the reservation over a week ago so I really don’t understand why there wasn’t any food left for those of us that made reservations for later. The website says that certain items are served all day and we were told that they were not. I have been here two times before and the hostesses aren’t so pleasant but the food taste good. I wanted a good experience for my mom and sister. We ended up going to the pizza place next door and had a blast. So disappointed.

I had a great brunch experience at Starshines in McDonough. They moved locations down the street since the last time I came here, but this new place is much bigger and much nicer. They accommodated our large party of 9 without any issues. The people were inviting and answered any questions we had. The food was also really good, highly recommend the blueberry lemon french toast!
