It wasn't as good as when we ate there before. Expensive for Mexican food. Plus they charged us a $2.25 "service fee", for what I have NO idea.Unbelievable and unacceptable. We will not be returning!

Great margaritas and taco salad. We were a large group and were served promptly and with a smile. Our group of 6 or more visits about once a week and we continue to be pleased with the bar, food and service.

My husband and in-laws come to this place whenever we visit them, and it never disappoints! Food is always great, and service is usually fast, even with a full house.

Great service and great food. Lucy is an amazing waitress! She makes the best margaritas! We love to get an order of the carne asada fries, Texas house special, or the Fiesta taco salad! The owner is extremely nice. If you haven't been, stop by for a drink and some great food!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in a while. My friend and I were warmly greeted and seated immediately. I ordered a drink from the bar, the tutti fruitti. It was quite good. I could taste the flavor of the drink without it being overpowered by the alcohol. And it was a pretty good size for a medium! But the food is what resonated with me!! I had beef taquitos (you can also get chicken) for an appetizer and chori pollo for my entree. My friend had the Texas house special minus the veggies. Everything was hot when brought out, portions were a good size (had to get to-go boxes) and tasted delicious. I will definitely be returning. Thanks Los Magueyes for a wonderful lunch!!

The food is consistently good, but the service can be hit or miss. Most of the time, we have had quality service, but there have been a couple of times where our servers have forgotten to check on us, even when it wasn't

This used to be my favorite mexican restaurant but now they are bottom of the barrel. First of all, they cater to white people. The host (who is supposedly the fair skinned hispanic elderly woman with glasses up front, does both the both the host and the checking out of customers I assume. She sat the white couple in front of me down, and when she got back, she stared at me for a sec and then proceeded to go back to the cashier desk to check out a white male, WHO CAME AFTER ME. She did not even say a word to me. Rude! It took for one of the hispanic servers in there to actually notice me and have me seated. Wow. Second I asked for guacamole. Now, guacamole is supposed to be a mexican staple and also being made of fresh ingredients! Why is it that when I get my guacamole, it looks like it was stored in the refrigerator and why is the green of the avocados lacking color? I have never ordered guacamole from a mexican reataurant that looks like this. There was no seasoning in my fajitas. This place just went downhill so I don’t know if it’s because they are in new ownership or what, but I would rather go to Chipotle and that is sad to say knowing this is an actual mexican restaurant.

I've been there a couple of times and takeout a couple more, I world hope ONE DAY to get a chalupa that wasn't soggy and the tamale that equal meat to massage. The chicken tacos are VERY dry, the grilled chicken is better.
