Went there to eat with a friend and it was the best choice I ever made. Food was delicious, ALL of the staff was super friendly, and the prices was reasonable. I can't wait to go back. Floor was a bit sticky. Unusual for this place. It isn't anything fancy but it sure tastes like grandma's cookin'! It's always a pleasure.Vegetarian options: Tons of veggies!

This was my 2nd time to go out of my way when traveling through Milledgeville so that we could eat at Mama J’s. Definitely worth a little side trip. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. The down home atmosphere is sure to please. The price was very reasonable and we had plenty of food.
