I am far from an expert on quick serve Mexican food in the greater Alpharetta area. That said, I am a long time fan of authentic Mexican food. The Taco Nest in Milton served excellent tacos (al pastor and grilled chicken), flavorful salsas (verde, and mild and hot red), and freshly diced cilantro and white onions. It's always a good sign when limes are provided with the meal -- which they were.Friendly service! We were greeted as soon as we entered and thanked as we left.The restaurant was clean and its decor simple, but a notch above typical.We recommend Taco Nest and will dine there again.

Really good authentic street tacos. We enjoyed the chicken tacos with fresh cilantro, limes and chopped onions. The lunch special comes with chips and salsa and a drink and four tacos served on fresh corn tortillas. I enjoyed our meal, but would have liked cheese, lettuce or guacamole to go with the tacos. I'll ask next time if I can add that to the tacos. I didn't love the salsa so I probably would just get the tacos separately and not the special, but I definitely want to try more tacos. The birria tacos are their most popular and they looked great. I will update my review after we try those next time. Definitely try this spot for fresh Mexican food.

The girls that work there are always friendly, professional, quick and the food is amazing if you want authentic tacos/nachos this is the place to go 10/10. Don’t forget to ask for the green sauce.

Thankful I found this little taqueria.The good:seems like fresh and cooked to order. Salsas were good, like how they included. Onions and cilantro. Quality of the meats were good. Also, I really liked how they used two tortillas to double up on these taco. Obviously, taste was quite good and is comparable to real Mexican tacos that have had in multiple cities in Mexico.The bad:Nothing really bad but one thing that caught me off guard is that if you just order one birria taco, it does not come with consome which is crazy. They actually charge $3 extra for a cup of consome. It should be expected to get some consume for your birria taco even if it's a tiny little cup which would be enough for one taco. Please fix this otherwise, it would have been 5 out of five stars.

They messed up every part of our order. We basically had to build out tacos ourselves in the wrong tortillas.

Came for the quesabirria tacos and left content! These were the Best Birria tacos I've ever tried! We took our order to go, and was helped by the lovely lady at the counter. She recommended the quesabirria combo, which is one of their most popular items. We ordered two and it was an excellent choice, because I don't think either of us would have wanted to share any of our 3 tacos . 10/10 highly recommend!

They don't have chicken tacos on the DoorDash app which I think is odd. I initially ordered once and they had them, but that was the only time.
Great tacos with such friendly staff . I have been back twice and I only wish I lived closer so I could go everyday!!
