A little loud in here with the local chatter, as this has a very small dining area. Chicken was good. Sides are your typical for the south. Plenty of Okra. Desserts were good. Canned Sodas, Fresh Lemomade and plenty of Sweet Tea for the drink choices.Definitely will try them again on a fish day.

I always go through the drive thru due to physical disabilities, And I jus wish they would figure out a quicker way to get people through it! Other than that I'm good with them ?

I go here every Thursday for the hamburger steak. Their mac n cheese is something I really look forward to throughout the week. Great southern home cooking. I can't help it, but I go all out when I order: double mac n cheese, black eyed peas, collards AND a fried chicken breast to sop up the gravy from the hamburger steak. The only negative is that they get really, really busy sometimes and when they do I don't bother. It sometimes takes about 30-45 minutes to get in and out. When I time it right, though, I can get in and out in 10-15 minutes. Thursday lunch at Josie's is definitely the one lunch day I look forward to the most. Wednesdays they have ranch chicken as well, which is also delicious, and Fridays, if you can brave the crowd, they do fried fish.

The food is good but the opening time must be wrong online because they opened at 11:30am, but it is advertised at 11:00am.

Skip the line and go somewhere else. 44 minutes in line, just to order. It was 2 people in the line in front of me. I will never come here again. Took me over a hour to get my lunch, I got back to work late and couldn’t even eat the food. Take it from me and go to El Patron around the corner. The food is great and by the time you eat your food and go to your destination, Josie’s would just be starting to plate the food. Never again. Lesson learned

Good, small town, southern food!! I really enjoyed the barbecue pork chops, mac and cheese, and the cornbread!Atmosphere got 2 stars bc its not very wheelchair freely, especially the restroom.Ordering for the first time indoors is very confusing........Pick up or drive thru only in my recommendation.I hope one day this owner can move into a bigger location! ?

I’m not sure why I have never seen this restaurant before, but it caught my eye today and I decided to stop through the drive-through. Lady at the window was very nice! I ordered the ranch chicken, green beans, fried okra, and banana pudding (after some hesitation). Boy am I glad I got that banana pudding. Delicious!! Warm and yummy. The ranch chicken was also delicious! I love dark meat so was happy to get 3 wings instead of a breast. I’m not sure if it is all wings or other pieces as well but I think a thigh and 2 wings would be fair for the price. Green beans are very good. Okra is good. Also when I opened up the plate and saw the ho cake. I was done. My favorite and it was delicious! $13 for a plate and dessert. I’m a fan of supporting local business, so I don’t mind paying that price. Definitely worth a stop! Even on days without fried pork chops. I’ll be back to try those if I can be in the area on a Tuesday.
