I believe this place has potential and need a few things to get this restaurant filled with guest! The patio is huge and has a beautiful view but the smoke will deter you from enjoying the outside. We went outside because of the smoke inside. Our first waitsress RayJean was awesome and our second waitress Mickey closed it out for us and saved the day! Mickey was very well groomed, polite and made sure we didn’t have any problems. I will grade the food as a C-, the spinach was good, food prices a little steep and last but not least a dude was asking us while we are eating did we want to buy sunglasses?? Yes he had sunglasses for sale at the restaurant. The End….

My girlfriends and I stopped here to grab a few drinks before seeing a movie and the waitress was very friendly and accomodating. However, the drinks were not very strong. When we walked up the the bar to pay for our tabs after grabbing our second drinks, we literally watched her pour water from a water bottle into our drinks and another unsuspecting patron. We're all hard working girls and it was a little disappointing to watch our money get wasted when we just wanted to have a good time.

Went for brunch on Sunday. Food was hit and miss. The crab cake was amazing but came with fried instead of the breakfast potatoes on the menu.Floor was sticky and smelled like stinky mop.Our waitress was really great and sweet. Best part of the experience.Had several tv's but only one game on, even though two tables asked for a different game to be shown. Not sure if we would go back.

I usually love this place. I have been here twice. I went during brunch hours so not too many people and I love the seafood grits. However I went today around 1:30pm and the door was locked. The hours reflect the restaurant opened at 11am… I had family and friends with me whom I bragged to about this place. I tried calling both locations but was sent to voicemail. I’m not returning. It’s too risky to drive across town and the restaurant is closed. That was extremely disappointing!

This is my second location I've tried and I had to kiss and tip the cook awesome atmosphere worth the drive

I only went there because a friend said 2 Chainz owns it. I did see a giant picture of him there on the wall. The furniture is very low budget, and the place is in disrepair. I'm giving it 2 stars based on them being out of half the things they had on the menu, and the waitress overcharging on things. I also need to mention the waitress tried to just give a total amount, without an itemized receipt. I hold that against her, I don't think the entire restaurant is corrupt. It is the responsibility of the restaurant to weed out bad characters. The best part about it was having a dj, in the day time.

First time being here and I must say I won't return unless I'm just getting a drink! The food is horrible. My girlfriend had the French toast and it was horrible no sugar just eggs n bread ?. Customer service is ok. I also don't like the fact they don't have a special on hookah during brunch time. They also was out of a lot of food.

Came here on Saturday, got seated and got waited on right away . Drinks were amazing, I ordered the fish and grits by didn't quite like it, the waiter took my food and brought me out chicken and waffles, FINGER LICKING GOOD!! MY SISTER ORDERED PEACHES AND CREAM french toast. She loved it. Great place, good vibes, perfect drinks and amazing food. ! Definitely will be back

The best place on the Southside to get some great food and drinks, and listen to music while doing it. It is also much larger than the downtown location. I love going for brunch, but they stay open late on weekends too. Oh, and the patio is also huge. You really can't go wrong if you're looking for a place to with a small or big group to have a nice time while on this side of town.

So I've visited the Escobar on Peter's St. and was not pleased by the customer service and I feel the same way about this location with the exception of 1 beautiful waitress by the name of Ebony; such a kind, attentive and fun waitress. Let's start from the beginning....when we entered there was no hostess to greet or seat us. There was only maybe 5 customers at the bar and no one was in the main area so it was totally empty. We stood there at the hostess station for atleast 5 minutes when one of the employees from behind the bar said you guys can seat anywhere, ok cool. We sat in the main area for atleast 30-45 min before I had to try to wave done an employee, who ignored me because she was about to clock because her shift had ended. I found out this after we was waited on by Ebony and I watch the unprofessional employee clock out. I even stood up to go towards her and she sped up to get to the back. I was so irritated at that. I ask another young lady (who was Ebony) who was our waitress because no one has been to the table and we didn't have any menus or drinks and it was our 1st time coming here. Ebony completely turned everything around got us our menus took our orders and kept the drinks coming. She made it an experience and whom ever does the hiring for both locations missed the mark on they're hiring and/or training process, but they chose a great waitress by choosing Ebony. If Escobar had more waiters & waitress like her this establishment would be so much better. Just because this is owned by a celebrity doesn't mean its great because it was not. The food was just ok, loved the music.

I was not pleased with the food or the service! We were actually told we had to leave at 8pm because there is a charge for the band performing. Never mind the fact that I was with 16 ladies and I spent $35... I will not be back! Sorry

OMG We Had A Wonderful Time. The atmosphere was amazing the age group was maybe 30 & up there were no young kids there. It was Karaoke night last night and the contestants did a great job. When we got there around 12:45 am and sat down for a drink we was ready to order something to eat but the kitchen had closed @ 12 am so keep that in mind. They had very few items on the menu but other than that 5 thumbs up....
