The food was fine. It was nothing to really brag about but it worked. The service was horrible. The blonde haired white chick was our waitress. I don’t know her because she never told it to us. We were an after thought to her. It felt like she didn’t want to serve us. She spent more time outside collecting plates instead of checking on us. Everything took 20 minutes. There was no wait but took 20 minutes for her to come and ask for our drink orders. Another 10 min to get our waters and Mountain Dew. We were ready to order but she didn’t even give us time to say anything. She dropped off the waters and kept going. She came back. We ordered the fried pickles. They took so long that we watched another couple get their entrees and eat before the fried pickles came out. She was very inattentive and made us feel unwanted. We finished eating and asked for the bill. At this point we reedy to go after about 2 hours. It took about 30 minutes to get the check and her to check us out. Just ridiculous. Needless to say, we will not be returning. This is my first and last time.

There was a accident on booking. But Jamie came through like a champs.. and made everything work out and no birthday was messed up... So happy and very thankful they made it happen and didn't even take them long at all ..?

I've eaten at the The Cellar (The Bays - outside) quite a few times in the past, and it's been pretty good. However, this past Saturday April 20th was enough for me to decide I won't be going back. It was a very nice Saturday evening and Newnan was very busy due to the Newnan "Rock and Road" festival. I totally understand that. We were seated fairly quick even though they were pretty busy. It took about 20 minutes to get anyone to come to ask what we wanted to drink. Finally someone came and we ordered drinks and appetizers. 10 minutes later the appetizers come, we were like "O.K. that's awesome". Waited another 15 minutes and no drinks. Ask about our drink order and was told they are working on getting them, but the bar is slammed busy, I said, "O.K". I understand, please get them as soon as you can. Another 15 minutes pass and I see the waiter taking drinks to other tables and still we have nothing. I ask him to just bring us a bottle of whatever beer, we'll take that. Another 15 minutes go by and by then We'd had enough. He approaches finally after 1 hour 15 minutes (approx.) with Coors light (which sucks) but it was something. We got up, I approached the hostess in a very nice but aggravated manner and told her we were leaving. I won't say I will never go back, but it will be a very, very long time before I do again. Again, I understand the restaurant was busy, but 1 hour and 15 minutes for drinks was ridiculous. One great thing about this was that we walked right across the street to MEAT N GREET and was seated IMMEDIATELY, order drinks got them with appetizers in 10 minutes, placed our regular order, received in 15 minutes and as ALWAYS it WAS GREAT !!!!!!!!!! This is a our MAIN STAY that we usually go to and in the future we will not stray to another place. THE CELLAR could learn a lot from other really good restaurants in downtown Newnan .

Got the Bay Burger it was under cooked, the meat wasn't good at all . Also got a kids hamburger no bun just meat. Not good at all it was ordered plain for a dushhound Winnie dog. On 3-15-24 . My dog been sick since Friday night after eating the plain kids burger. I have also felt bad since eating the Bay Burger. The meat quality is not good have had better hamburgers at McDonald's. I wasted a 100.00 hundred and 49 dallors on bad food. But the wine was good.?

The restaurant has a nice look and feel, but our issues were: our waitress was not friendly at all and borderline rude on several occasions, we also had to ask for the bread that everyone around us had . Also from the time we sat down at our table to our appetizer coming out was over and hour and dinner was served about 15 mins after that. The food was good though. This was not the dining experience I was expecting, hopefully that was just one bad night.

This is our third time at The Cellar Newnan and it did not disappoint! All the food was excellent, our server Chloe was awesome, and the host/sommelier was amazing. I highly recommend!
Our waitress was great! She was friendly, personable, and attentive without being overbearing. The place was lovely and the food was delicious. I had the pasta dish without meat (I'm vegetarian) so I didn't have high expectations. Wow! I didn't know pasta could taste so good. ?
