I’ve frequented this restaurant plenty of times, and have enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, I will not return because of the rude and obnoxious service I received today. Sadly, because I expressed my dissatisfaction with one of their teenage employees whose customer service was very poor and rude, the situation escalated to the point where I called the police. Rather than attempt to defuse the situation, another employee (a young teenage-looking young man with red hair) decided to jump in the conversation and antagonize me. There apparently was no manager on duty. I asked for a refund and left the restaurant and waited for the police to arrive.Anyways. The food a good here. The service has been good up until now. This is an isolated incident. I would still recommend this place for the food. Unfortunately, they lost a frequent customer because of this incident. I wish they would train their staff to provide better service and conduct training on how to display respect to all customers; especially regulars.By the way, the rude young lady in question, was wearing a sweatshirt that read, “Jesus Love You.” She stormed off when I asked her if her customer service was the best representation of those words.

Yesterday was my first time in the Oink Joint. I ordered food to go. The food was so good, but I’d like to take a moment to applaud the young boys working there! WOW! You kids rock! They were so busy, but kept going non stop. Actually working hard! I hope they are getting paid well. They were busting their butts. And did all of this without an attitude towards any customers and did not argue with each other. They simply worked as a team getting peoples food out to them and taking orders and restocking what needed. Thank you gentlemen for this! Your hard work will pay off! Good job!!!

Ive had better BBQ off the side of the road. I hate to give a bad review but this was the absolute worst BBQ I've ever had. The greens were very bitter the Mac and cheese was old and not edible and the "sauce" was horrible. Had I sat down inside to eat I would have sent it all back. My wife literally spit the pork out and would not eat it.

Came on a Friday evening around 7. The place had customers, but there was also abundant seating. Our family eats here every few months and usually enjoys it, but it seems like every time the quality goes down just a bit more. This evening, the empty tables were dirty. When our food came out, my husband asked for ranch for his fries and was told he would have to buy it. He did not want to wait in line to pay for ranch, but really, we paid 75 dollars for food and you can’t bring us a ranch?!?!? We then realized that they gave us all bbq sauce for our plate, but he did not receive any and his fries were cold and a bit soggy as were our toast slices. The pork itself was good, but the bbq sauce (vinegar) was not. The kids liked the Mac and Cheese and the oldest likes the spicy baked beans. May or may not return. Just not that impressive anymore.

This is a walk in to the counter and order restaurant, not a full service sit down and order off the menu type of place. The staff is very friendly. There are fountain drinks and iced tea. You will make your own drink and clear your own table. The barbecue was a little dry, but was fine with sauce on it. It is a cute place and it is clean. The location is convenient.

We split a brisket plate w/fries and Mac n cheese and added on a side of tots. There was plenty for us to split, especially since the "side" of tots was huge. Food comes out quick, not fancy but great taste and moved relaxed atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Large portion chicken tenders and fries and our picky eater was thrilled.

We had the brisket and pork platters. Brisket was very dry and the pork was average. Overall we weren't very impressed.
I visited the restaurant on 2/12/24. The restaurant is a little dark, a few more lights would be nice. The young man taking my order was very helpful and the female cook was really nice. One cook came out and he really needs to pull up his pants, and another cook in the back could slow down on the four letter words or be a little quieter. For the food, I got the Cadillac Chicken sandwich with the Brunswick stew on the side. The food was very very good and I can’t wait to come back in town and try other menu items.
Spent 30$ on the brisket plate. Worst brisket I have ever had. Dry doesn't even come close to describing

Can't really find anything good with the Oink Joint. I am surprised that they have so many local choice awards for bbq. The plates that my wife and I ordered took over 30 min to get out. There were people who ordered the same thing after we did and got their plates before us. Staff never checked up on us and when I asked what was happening all of a sudden our order was next. The brisket that I got wasn't correct. Asked for it sliced and got it chopped. It was also dry. My wife's backs were basically a handful of chips with a small amount of meat and bbq drizzled over it. Not to impressed by any of the food.
