The waitress named Stephanie, and the cook who's name I didn't catch (Destiny maybe? Sorry man, you were great!) were doing a great job tonight after the other employee ditched them. The other employee was sitting outside when we pulled up, and didn't come back in until we were done with our meal. The catch is that service was a little slow due to the volume of calls and to go orders, one large family coming in, and only two people working. I do not mean to disparage those two employees by that, they were doing the best they could given that this other employee ditched them for AT LEAST 30 minutes, probably longer.Stephanie was covering the entire floor instead of just her area. The cook was throwing down and getting orders out as quick as he could. Our meals hit the spot after we had been out in the cold for hours.

We server acted like she did not want to be there, we ordered sausage with the meal waitress stated it was coming up and we never got it... several staff walked off to the back and stayed... never offered to refill our drinks, if we needed anything nothing... brought the bill right after our food and never returned...

Keep going if you're looking for a waffle house, how this got four stars is beyond me. The food is below average by waffle house standards "that's saying something. But stopping for breakfast at 6am and having a wait staff that can't run coffee, drinks respond to phonecalls and bring food in under an hour is pitiful. I feel bad leaving a review like this but the interaction I had here was painful and if I'm traveling through this way again I'll be sure to remind myself that this waffle house did me dirty.

This visit is getting like a 4, because our bacon was burned , like looked like Charcoal Briquets, burnt and there was no drama whatsoever going on for WH mood ambience.On the other hand, the rest of our food was great, our server was friendly and attentive and the store was clean. As a loyal, long time WH customer, I prefer both.
