I do not recommend this place if your are not Latino. I came in to pick up an order that had already been placed and it was only one item. It wasn't busy at all yet instead of just giving me my food other customers walking in were prioritized. So I walked out and will never return.

I never actually been to this restaurant in person, but whenever I don’t feel like cooking, but want something that taste like home I order from these guys! If you are from Latin America, the Caribbean, New York, or Miami, you’re gonna love this place! Such a blessing because their prices are so reasonable and their food is QUALITY! Having their food makes me believe that a lot of the other restaurants are Price gouging, because these guys are so reasonably priced for delicious fresh quality food!

I already felt the vibe was off when I first arrived. I came in with a group of my friends and the waitress at the bar had a weirdness to her and her attitude was as if she didn’t like me. All night I joked with my friends saying she doesn’t like me. Turns out she really didn’t like me. She treated my friends who were a different skin tone than me nicer. Issue: They had a set price on the menu for shrimp empanadas as $9.00 for three of them. $6.00 for beef. When the bill comes out it shows $12.00 so I ask my friends if I was incorrect or not. (I also ordered 2 mango margaritas) We tell the woman at the bar and some other woman cam and and used the excuse was that shrimp is more expensive which I completely understand but why have it as shrimp is $9.00 on the menu. Then all these people come from the back and then start to diss us in Spanish thinking we didn’t know what we were talking about. One man even comes behind the bar pulls his phone out and say things like “oh these black woman have a problem with the bill!” And he records us. I say whatever and it’s no big deal and she changes the price to a cheaper price. It wasn’t that I wanted her to change it to the beef price, I just wanted to know why the menu had one price and the bill they were charging me was a different price. I pay and move on from this. As we are wrapping this up another worker from the back decided to slide by towards the bar and whisper something under his breath to insult me as if I was being petty.(something along the lines of shrimp because I ordered shrimp.) When I brought this to the attention of the woman at the bar she proceeded to pretend that she didn’t know what I was talking about since there was a language barrier. We were even using a translator app and I asked was there a problem and why did he say that? She proceeded to say “oh there’s no problem he was just talking about coffee.” And that it’s okay we will see you again next time.

Didn't get a chance to eat. I came in with my mother Saturday night and we ordered 2 morir sonando. First thing she was drunk and out drinks were sour so we told the waitress to remake them. They were better. My mom told the lady her order and the lady walked away. After 15 mins waiting I flag her down to order she locks eyes with me then she turns around and goes to the back. Finally she comes to the table asks us how are the drinks, meanwhile they're almost finished. So my mom goes to tell her our orders and she said she didn't know I was eating and her order was already in. So my mom just told her to cancel the order because she didn't want me sitting there watching her eat (I wanted Dominican food and she recommended this place). The waitress then asked my mom what did she order ??‍♀️. The total came out to $12 and some change. We have her a $20, she tipped HERSELF $2 and change, then she gave me $5 back.

I took a risk and my goodness was it WORTH IT! I did a Google search for Dominican restaurants. I called in my order. When I walked in I knew I had to add to my order. Being from NY/NJ I have very high standards for Dominican food. This place almost made me cry! It tastes just like food in NYC!!! Now I don’t have to bring food back from NYC because this is now my official spot!

Food is great. Fruit drinks are made from scratch. They also have a wide range of alcohol, so I'm assuming the mix drinks should be on point also.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options would be all the sides. Ex. Rice, beans, salad, potato salad etc...Parking: Large open parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomeWheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp access to the building n the tables are low enough for everyone.
