Me and my husband was on a date and we came here to eat because I wanted some African cuisine. We both ordered the Jollof Rice with beef. Good portions, great food, and great prices. We didn’t even have to wait long for our food. We didn’t order an alcoholic beverage, but I did skim over the menu. Their drinks are reasonably priced. We came on a Saturday and there was a DJ playing. The music was too loud considering the number in the crowd, but it was pleasant hearing. We don’t know our waitress name because it was so hard to order over the loud music. She was very friendly and polite. This is a good place to come for the warming, vibing atmosphere, great costly food and drinks, and good music. We got a chance to meet the Manager and he was very welcoming. We will definitely be back. A good date night spot, after work hours spot, & a chill place spot.

I grew up eating this food. I just received the nastiest moi moi and jollof I’ve ever eaten. Whoever cooked this must either not care or not have ever eaten Nigerian food. The moi moi had a mediocre flavor and was very dry. The jollof was nasty. It tasted like old rice and tomato with no seasoning. I spit it out and couldn’t even swallow it. My inner fat Nigerian kid is pissed!! They egusi soup was decent though.Update: the chicken in my egusi soup was raw.

I just started back eating meat. My friend keeps telling about beef Suya. Well I stopped here to see what all the hype was about. I'm back again today. After questioning the price of my $28 for beef and plantains, now I see why. I'm paying the $21, but please leave the price there

I was here over the weekend, and the suya was spot on good, but the night was so packed with numerous guests, and the servers got carried away by attending to the known regular faces. The owner is a nice guy and attends to everyone. How I wish they had an expanded venue so it could accommodate their numerous customer base and avoid people stepping on people to pass through

This is a very dishonest establishment.1) When we asked for our check, the server brought a point-of-sale machine with our total on it, but there was no breakdown of cost. We had to ask for an actual physical check of our meal. This was the first red flag.2) At no point, did the server let us know that the prices on the menu had changed. It was when we reviewed our check that we realized the prices on the menu were vastly different from the price we were charged. When we asked, the manager said there is a fine print on the menu that says prices are subject to change.3) There was also a 20% automatic gratuity that we wouldn’t have figured if we didn’t ask for the physical check.I understand there is inflation, but there is literally a review from 3 months ago complaining about this same thing. A restaurant that doesn’t even care to update its menu prices after 3 months is not worth your time. I mean, that’s literally the bare minimum. What else are they cutting corners on?

Great food, staff and fantastic ambiance. Finally got to try the suya and we've been going about every week for the last two months. The suya taco is a must try as it's a great combo of favorites (jollof and suya). The fried yam was perfect and the efo riro was s close to home as I've had in a long time. Will definitely continue to recommend to anyone looking for the right mix of food and vibes.

I ordered Okra soup with fish. The portion size was very small and the fish included 2 pieces which were both the Boney parts of the fish, so it was nothing but skin and bones.

I ordered the Lamp Chop Entree and substituted broccoli for plantains... I requested Medium on the Lamb.. the meat was super savory and thick (no thin meat)... the Lamb sauce was on point -- West African BBQ sauce... Great TV at Bar to make it feel you are watching a movie while eating. Great pours on drink.. Authentic West African Food less than $30 a plate...Definitely a place to add to your portfolio to get the taste of the world--- here you can check off West Africa
