I have been coming here for 10 years, mostly for the duck and I can confidently say that it is consistently excellent, as good as i have had in New York, London, or San Francisco. I don't understand the negative reviews unless they are from competitors. when I moved to Atlanta 11 years ago I had two priorities: Dim Sum and Roast Duck and pork. Happy Valley Dim Sum and Wong Kee. a few doors away are excellent. Believe my review!!

Oooh My... I tried the Crispy Roasted Duck for the 1st time and I will say it will not be the last... It was very well cooked but next time don't hold back on my portions... The part of the duck that was cut for me Mostly had bones and flesh... The flavor was EXCELLENT!...It's why I want more of the meaty parts cut for me on my next visit... And there are some more interesting items that I will be trying on the 2nd visit...BBQ

The sign out front says "Wong Kee Peking Duck". I figured this would be a good place to get Peking Duck because "Peking duck" is in the name of the place. I was wrong. In a nutshell, the place is dirty and sketchy as hell. Despite the Peking duck monicre, Peking duck is not on the menu. There's something called "duck over rice". OK, whatever, we tried it. The food we received on our plates was obviously old, like it was leftover from the night before. They microwaved it. The duck was not crispy at all; warm on the outside, cold on the inside. The white rice actually tasted sour/old. It literally reminded me of a sad plate of leftovers that someone might bring to lunch at work and reheat in the microwave. Pretty disgusting. We didn't really eat much more than a few bites before we tapped out. No apologies for the appalling quality of the meal, no discount. My wife and I paid the $30 bill and left to go eat somewhere else. There's so many interesting Asian places around this area, and we love trying new things. But, there's a few good places and a huge pile of terrible places. This place is at the top of the terrible pile. We took one for the team so you won't have to. You're welcome. Haha.

Will keep this review short. The food was bad and gave my brother, roommate, and I food poisoning. The chicken was mostly bone and same with the duck. The pieces were greasy, bony, bland, and honestly pretty nasty. I was not able to finish the meal.

For 12.25$ after tax, this the delicious ?. The duck and bbq pork was flavorful 10/10, roasted pork was ok, not the best i ever had but it wasn't bad, 7/10. Like how there are pickle and dipping sauce on the side. This filled me up with left over.

I definitely enjoyed my time at Wong Kee BBQ. The owner is a very pleasant man who has been roasting and slicing meats for probably longer than I have been alive. The duck is juicy and crisp and the pork was deliciously roasted. I usually take my meats home and it heats up beautifully. A+ place to grab food!
