We just ate pupusas here for a weekday lunch. They were hot, fresh, and delicious! The chicken and queso were excellent as well as the pork, queso, and bean. Service was great. Cost was $20 for 6 pupusas and two sodas. We ate 4 and took 2 home. They were filling! Will be back again!

We came in and waited almost a whole hour to be served. We did not receive straws, or napkins. It was very slow in the restaurant. The cups were dirty. The food was not good overall.

Pupusas were ok. Service was decently speedy. I would NOT suggest getting the Horchata. I believe it's a powder and not authentic. Was not good.

Great menu, fair prices & delicious pupusas. Perfect for a casual meal.Authentic food from El Salvador. Everything about this restaurant is focused on El Salvador.

Been coming for many years. Consistency is there, randomly they might be off a little but for rhe most part, their pupusas are on point.

Worst service ever not sure how this place stays in business. There must be one employee taking order making the food and serving. It’s been over 20 minutes and no has attended us.

This place has a special place in my heart. Back when I used to go to Gainesville college (before it became UNG), my friends and I would come here for their pupusas. For just $8 bucks (back then) or less, it would be enough to fill us for the day. I came when it first opened and the interior is still the same. It's dark and not a place I would say cozy. The only thing on their menu that I always come back and back again is their tamales. It's different than the regular tamales that you're used to. It's made out of potatoes instead of corn so the texture is soft and melts in your mouth. Their seasoning is just right; actually, it's perfect in my opinion. Since my UNG/Gainesville day, I have moved to Cali and have tried high and low, near and far, all the Salvadorian places I can find. No places tamales match this place. Every time I come home to GA for a visit, I would always make sure to stop by. I had their pupusas and tacos before but it's been awhile. I remember them tasting pretty good. Maybe I should order some next time. Their melon drink is the best. Not too sweet, not too strong in melon flavor. Its honestly perfect in my option.

My husband and I ordered: two pupusas each. Each costing $2.00. We ordered water. We also ordered, 10 pupusas to go and one order of yuca with chicharron at $6.99. The lady told me it was $40.00. But the undetailed receipt was for $42.00. You do the math and tell me how did taxes come to the difference? Or did someone give themselves a tip?

It was really warm in there, but man the pupusas, nuegados, empanadas and horchata were delicious! Authentic for sure.
