Seems like a casual place, so we were pleased to find incredible, high quality fish and inspired flavors! We sat at the bar and let the chef prepare his recommendations. I don't know why there is a menu, the sushi we were served was exquisite. I never need to look at the menu- I'll just take the chef's choice forever. Also, had the matcha chiffon cake; great way to end an amazing meal.
SO glad to have a somewhat authentic Japanese restaurant in PTC again after Ginza's closure 15 or so years ago! Though perhaps more expensive than people are used to paying for Japanese, other less expensive sushi options in PTC or elsewhere do NOT match Momonoki's quality... The food is absolutely to die for! You’ll be hard pressed to find sushi as buttery and as succulent as this anywhere else in the world. They serve some of the best miso soup I have ever had. Rebecca, Alvin, Miguel, and company are always are so kind and welcoming.
