The rice tasted dull, couldn't taste anything but oil. Good amount of food & my shrimp was good. Atmosphere just okay

Very expensive for very low quality. I ordered hibachi and by the time it got to my table the vegetables were cold, and not seasoned very well. The portion of onions and broccoli to meat and rice is also disappointing. You’re paying almost 40 for a plate and when you get it the whole thing is rice, broccoli, and onions and a handful of steak bites. The server also completely messed up our order and kept bringing the wrong dishes. Other than that she was really nice. I definitely won’t be coming back. The sushi was also pretty meh.

The layout and art were very nice, the ramen was very good. The bulgogi was tasteless and overcooked. The hibachi was good. The waiter did well.

Do not order. We had their filet mignon, fried rice and egg rolls. We have never gotten a worse food poisoning. Either they cook directly with poison or their food is completely unsanitary.

If you have a gluten allergy, do not eat here. I paid nearly $100 for 2 dinners, not including my own because I was never served the steamed shrimp roll I ordered. According to the person who took our order, only the cucumber and avocado rolls were gluten free. Having no tamari or gluten free soy sauce is unacceptable at a restaurant that charges nearly $30 for a hibachi steak dinner. Mostly the server was indifferent. I left a tip because the hibachi chef was “ok”. and my adult children enjoyed their meal. We were appalled that I never received the steamed shrimp roll I ordered, but didn’t behave badly. I fail to understand how steamed shrimp contains gluten.

Do not eat here, if you have a gluten allergy. I visited family and took them to dinner the night before I left Savannah. They were served a meal, and I never received the steamed shrimp I ordered. According to the waiter only the avocado rand cucumber rolls were gluten free. This restaurant can charge you $30 a plate and not have Tamari or gluten free soy sauce? It's unacceptable. Who puts wheat flour or soy sauce on steamed shrimp? Bad chefs, I say. Poor management

The hibachi chef was comical. The hibachi food was good. We ordered pho to go. Of course, it comes deconstructed. We had to request the accompanying ingredients. We were told by the waiter that noodles go in ramen, not pho. The broth is the same broth they use as their clear soup, not what I was expecting and it of the flavor norm for pho. It tastes like fried onion broth. I now know to go to a Vietnamese restaurant for pho and Japanese steakhouse for hibachi. We were also overcharged. However, the staff was nice.

Service and management at this location has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. We used to enjoy eating here and have spend lots of money doing so. After our experience today, we will never return. We went right at opening. No one else in the restaurant. My GF wanted hibachi and I wanted sushi. They sat us at the hibachi table. Then insisted we both must order hibachi. Or else I had to sit at the sushi bar while she sat alone at the hibachi table. The waiter even argued incessantly with us over it. Then.the female manager said I was being rude for wanting to take up a spot at the otherwise empty hibachi table while only eating sushi. BIG MISTAKE!!! When a restaurant offers a full menu to a mixed crowd and then seats them together, just take the orders and serve the customers! Don't openly argue with them. My sushi order would have far outweighed my normal hibachi order of $34.95(filet, shrimp and chicken). Not to mention the drinks and appetizers we would have ordered. They chose to run off really good, repeat customers over an obviously new policy that is going to be a problem going forward with other customers. We ended up driving all the way into Savannah for Asian River. Spent $90 for 2 people and had a great meal. I highly recommend Asian River in Savannah over Ichiban.

Ichiban is the best Japanise restaurant in the area. I don't know ow why they only have 3 stars. Everything is so fresh, they don't give tiny portions, the service and atmosphere is amazing.

I got clear soup to start which was very flavorful in comparison to other places. I had the one love roll and the Godzilla roll. The one love was great. I probably wouldn’t order the Godzilla again- wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. The service was good. My waiter was very attentive and helpful.
