I'm giving it 3 stars simply because I used to love this place and would always stop in when I was in the area. But when I went by this time on 7/19/23, I only found it to be permanently closed and an oyster bar coming soon sign. Very sad to see!

The fish and chips were good. The place is overpriced for the quality of food served. Half the stuff served was pre-packaged and the shepherds pie had no flavor and cold spots throughout. The waitress was very nice. I definitely wouldn’t recommend for the area.

A fantastic restaurant located near Savannah, Georgia. This is a site that offers a true pub experience. From the moment you step inside, you will feel like you’re in a Scottish Pub. There is a small alcove with limited seating right inside the door. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated but the hostess was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The menu features a wide variety of traditional Scottish dishes. I ordered the Jameson Pork chop. It came with Mashed potatoes, lots of carrots, , butter, a roll and gravy. It was a lot of food and it was delicious. I did not partake, but for the drinkers in the crowd, they have a beautiful bar and what appears to be an extensive list of craft beers, both local and international. The ambiance of Molly McPherson's adds to the overall experience. The restaurant has a cozy and rustic charm, with a lovely outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your meal al fresco. It's a great place to relax and unwind with friends or family. Whether you're a local or just visiting the area, Molly McPherson's is a must-visit restaurant near Savannah, Georgia. The combination of delicious food, great drinks, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service makes it a standout choice. So, if you're looking for a place to enjoy a fantastic meal in a charming setting, Molly McPherson's is the perfect spot.

An Irish pub that I frequented ever time I visited family in the area closed. A sad day indeed. But the discovery of this local joint has more than made up for the loss...Located not so far from where I'm visiting, this Scottish pub is located in a nondescript strip mall and it's as if it's hiding in plain site. But once you find it, you can never unsee it and that's a good thing. It is a great place.Beautifully furnished with a an eye catching bar and plenty of seating to be had, you are warmly greeted and quickly seated. The service was super friendly, attentive, and was patient with all our requests and questions. For dinner my cohort has the Bangers and Mash while I chose the Scottish Meatloaf. For an appetizer we started with their meat pies. All of it came out fast and hot, and all of it was good. For dessert we shared the Toffee Cake which was scrumptious. Drinks by the way are more than I can list - from cocktails to mocktails to single malts, and to craft beer - they had it all.Where we lost our go-to Irish Pub on visits we gained this even better Scottish version.

Atmosphere was cool, but food was awful. Sweet potato fries were burned, chicken fingers were mostly breading and meat eggs were super greasy. Fish and chips are the best item on the menu. Not authentic Scottish or Irish food.

We have yet to be disappointed by the food at Molly's.This time I chose a classic: fish and chips. (Traditionally, this means fish and what we call fries, if you don't know, but you'll be asked if you mean chips in the American sense rather than fries, which is a generous consideration).Anyway, I got an amazing whole cod, battered and fried to absolute perfection. For us, Molly's is perfect right before (or right in between movies). We'll do that again! Next time I'll try taking pictures.

Unfortunately our experience at Molly's was not that great. Being from Scotland (Dumbarton) and getting the fish and chips was very disappointing, the frying oil was obviously old judging by the color of the batter and the chips and was quite greasy. The atmosphere is that of a Scottish pub and the wait staff attentive.

We ate at their Savannah location, and we're sad to see it closed when we came back. But we found them! Still awesome sticky toffee pudding, and a great selection.

The restaurant was very clean and modern. The food was your typical Irish themed stuff. The food was slightly bland. As well as a couple of the menu items were not correct or not what they were serving for the day.

Great neighborhood bar. Huge whiskey selection. Menu had all the Irish staples. I had bangers and mashed. It was good. Gravy was outstanding. Service was good. I would go back.

Just left Molly MacPherson in Pooler GA, it was the worst fish and chips I've ever eaten. To start my husband and I were seated at a 2 topper that was wedged between two other 2 toppers. We couldn't pull our chairs out because there wasn't enough room. They were not busy and there were other tables available. I asked to move to a table we could actually pull our chairs out to sit in. The fish wasn't a light golden brown you would expect for a beer battered fish it was very dark and very greasy. The fish itself was mushy. The fries were very dark yet most weren't firm but limp and just as greasy as the fish. It tasted as though they were fried together in very old oil. The sausage rolls and the service were the only highlights. We will not be going back. I just hope I don't get sick.

I entered this bar and it was the best experience in my life. The servers Chelsea and Maria and Alexa are the most wonderful people in the world. They have they way with the customers and was able to give everyone great satisfaction. No problems. These two are the most wonderful individuals I’ve ever met. These hardworking women deserve all the credit they deserve!!!

Meh. It was fine. We stopped by to kill a little time and grab some food before heading to the airport, and despite the place being mostly empty, everything was taking a long time. Approx. 15-20 minutes after our order, the waitress popped over to say they had to slice the meat for our sandwiches, so it'd take a bit longer. Considering how few people were there, I was surprised to see such a delay for a simple process. Dry rub lemon pepper wings were tasty and hot. Sweet potato fries were cold. Sandwiches were decent. Overall, nothing to write home about, but it was a decent enough place. I'd likely only go for drinks in the future.

I usually love this place but the last 2 times I have been here they have burned my food. This time when I sent back the fish & chips because the fish was so burned it was darker than the wood floor the waiter had an attitude. When he brought it back it was even darker than before. With the same attitude. His attitude only got better after my dad expressed his feelings on the matter.
