There were seven of us for dinner. Everything started with the waitress taking everyone’s drink order but mine. I had to chase after her Then everyone ordered appetizers but me because she left and I had to chase her down again. The cook served the meal but I had to ask three times for steamed rice. Then she included my meal on someone else’s check. The food was good but a hassle.

Very impressed with this place. They don't joke around when putting fish in their rolls. Lots of places fill their rolls with rice to make them look big but this place was awesome. Sushi is our guilty pleasure and we try a lot of different places and we were very lucky to have tried this.

Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Also everything was very clean.

Pretty standard-quality of Chinese/Japanese food. I like the interior, more spacious than a lot of Asian restaurants. Their ginger dressing on the salad is pretty good.

Pretty standard-quality of Chinese/Japanese food. I like the interior, more spacious than a lot of Asian restaurants. Their ginger dressing on the salad is pretty good. I know they got trashed on social media a while ago due to dispute with a former employee. Yet from what I saw today, everything is pretty normal and decent. The restaurant's health score is A. The service is really good--staff super friendly.

How this place gets an A health score is confusing and criminal, check out their photos on Facebook

Please read and look through photos before going here. I saw this posted on Facebook recently from an ex-employee of theirs. I would hate for anyone to get sick eating here, especially during these times.

Great food. Great location. Great pricing. Say at the hibachi grill and had shrimp and chicken and chefs choice sashimi. Couldn't imagine a better tasting meal. Service was slow due to not enough workers but I understand during Covid. Scored 7.8/10

My daughter was craving sushi as she does many times a week if we let her we would go almost everyday LOL! We went to this location and we ordered a bit more than we usually do because this time I was was craving it too! Over all the meal was very good. Nice to see another place making it through these trying times for all businesses and it's another reason I make sure to support small business. My fillet and lobster was enjoyable. The fillet was done to perfection and so tender I found my self eating slower to make it last ! The lobster however although tasted good the texture was a bit crisp even though of course it is grilled but more than I am accustomed to. I would not say to "not order it" but for my preference I found it it a bit tougher than I had at other places. I have had their scallops before and found those cooked wonderfully so next time I will just get those. Again no knock to the chef just my preference. My wife ordered the salmon and noodles with vegetables. I did take a small bite and I have to say it tasted absolutely great. My daughter ordered spicy tuna rolls and my son had teriyaki salmon, both were also very good. The sushi we ordered I would say is mid-level in comparison to some other places that are more focused and specialized on only sushi. The decor is average I would say but in line with what you would expect of a sushi restaurant or should I say hibachi grill place. The only thing really keeping them from a five in my opinion would be a refresh of the decor and the quality of the fish and the focus on sushi grade rice and mixture as it is unique and not just standard white rice steamed. Perhaps focus on the sushi before the decor even I might be inclined to bump it up to a five. Over all the price is on par for these types of food experiences and the food was very good. I would recommend them for a family night out and I will be back.

We always enjoy dining here. Sushi is fresh. Hibachi is a great show and the normal dining area is pleasant. Customer service is always friendly

I wasnt going to leave a review because most of the world doesn't consider vegans but when a waitress asks you a question that is disturbing, you can't help but post it. Once we sat in, we always tell whomever I'd waiting us that we don't eat dairy nor eggs. My fiance & I order two tofu lo-mein, 10 minutes after the waitress comes tell me that I have to order something else because the store only had one lo-mein left. Fine, I choose the pad thai and I didn't know it came with eggs. Once we got the food, we saw the eggs and we completely forgot to tell the waitress no egg. She proceeds and ask us "You dont eat egg today"? When we clearly said that we don't eat dairy nor eggs when you first sat us down.

We have been going to Sawa since they opened and it continues to go down hill. Tonight, the food was cooked way to fast because the grill was too hot. The food was tough and drenched in butter. Our chicken was raw and when we brought it up to the cook, he grabbed my plate to check and proceeded to put his hands in my food. He then scrapped the chicken off of my plate only to make remarks about the chicken not being raw. The piece he was showing me was extremely small, so yes it might not be raw. After asking my son what his favorite thing was, he stated the glass of water. We will not be returning.

Food tasted different and good, main compliant was it was so small an area that the noise from other groups was way to loud to enjoy a relaxing meal. Other than that it was good service and nice people
