This place has been here for as long as I can remember. They did change the setup to take payment at the door, similar to Ole Times, so you pay at the door. The food is timeless. It's always been great southern home cooking.

The service was great. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the manager and wait staff. The fried fish wasn't quite done, They didn't have fried chicken legs for the little ones much less the adults. There weren't any baked potatoes on the buffet. HOWEVER, the yeast rolls were delicious. The bread pudding was the best I've had in a long time. The banana pudding was artificial tasting. Over all could be better. But keep the bread pudding

Well, let me say first off, my husband has been traveling back and forth to South Carolina for a long time,and he has been stopping at this restaurant and has bragged about the food for years. But, this time, something fell off. The breakfast was NOT up to par. It was 45 minutes until lunch would be put out, but whatever is served, make sure it's quality or pull it off the line. IT'S NOT FAIR TO SERVE lukewarm, lights that have hardened food, and small choices at full price. It was disappointing and not good. They threw away a great reputation for 45.00 dollars. I hope it was worth it
