“Listen!!!! I wasn’t going to this place because when I called and asked if they had ox tail left(because most of the Jamaican restaurants in the area are always running out) the lady got smart and said what type of Jamaican restaurant doesn’t have ox tail.But when I got there the man in the front was so nice and polite!!! Ok let’s move on to the food! This is the first place in a long time in Georgia that I have went to and paid $30 for ox tail plate and got $30 worth of food and it was GOOD!!!!!!! I most definitely will return! I highly recommend you all visit them!!!!”

“Took my grandma here after a long day.. we had an amazing time! We ordered a couple of cocktails that were great tasting and strong. We also ordered the honey bourbon chicken and the pineapple bowl.. both were delicious! Amazing customer service. The chef even came out to check on us as well. The restaurant was definitely a vibe. It was also a plus that this is a black owned restaurant! We will be returning.”

The vegetarian chili is a surprisingly satisfying alternative to beef chili, and the spices are a perfect blend to tantalize the taste buds. A delight is the hearty Apple Dijon Kale Salad with Dijon Dressing. It is a crisp and flavorful salad of Kale, Granny Smith Apples, Walnuts, and Raisins/Currants, complemented by a tasty dressing. For those who enjoy fried fish, the whiting is meaty, juicy, and delicious. It comes with fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw at a reasonable price. Overall, Chef Tra’s menu portions are ample and appetizing. His meticulous meal packaging and creative custom foods are sure to please anyone who purchases from The Garden of Vegan.”

“Let me tell you! I have been in Georgia for 20 years or more and this by far is the best barbecue I have ever had! The first time I came here I only got ribs and chicken. I was blown away. I went back and ordered some sides the next time to go with my ribs, and I was totally satisfied. The people are so nice and the food is truly SOUL food let’s keep them in business.”

“OMG!!! Y'all, please don't let the outside fool you! My daughter and I stopped by to get dinner, trying something new. The service was pleasant. The cook/owner was there alone, but he handled it. Y'all, this food was delicious! Not only was it great, but it was more than enough for the price! I'm a country girl, and I love me some good BBQ, and this was it! Y'all really gotta go in and get a plate. I had the chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. There was enough for 2 days on my plate. And yes, it was still good the second day. Just try it! “I just want to say for starters that I almost never leave reviews for restaurants because I've worked in many of them I I know that all of them have good days and bad days so if I have a bad experience in one as a customer I don't leave a negative review because I get how it is. But if I really love a place I'm trying to be more vocal about it and that's why I'm leaving this review now. Ameribistro is by far one of the BEST restaurants I have ever had in my opinion. I've lived down the street from them since they opened and have had there food many many times. Not once has the food been bad. Tonight when I got my food I realized how much I have taken that for granted and I just want to say thank you the wonderful staff at Ameribistro for having constantly providing me and my loved ones with affordable delicious food and wonderful customer service. A word of advice to new customers, just call in your order and everything will be perfect everytime. And to the staff please never change anything..... Unless y'all are considering adding some dessert options... Then yes please”

“We were staying a few days in Atlanta and walked to this little coffee shop. It had been highly recommended to us by our good friends. We took our dogs and sat on the patio. I ordered a vegan biscuit and vegan sausage. A smiling gentleman brought it out, and he had given us an extra vegan, blueberry scone. Everything about this little coffee shop was so welcoming and warm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend it.”

“I don’t think I have ever written a restaurant review before but I am compelled this time! The restaurant was nice, the staff was nice, the food and drinks were very good. HOWEVER… I get the bill (my daughter and I split the bill). I was a waitress through college, I always tip 20% or more. My bill had listed the 18% gratuity as $18.72, the 20% gratuity as $20.80 and the 22% gratuity as $22.88… my bill came to $58.37. I take offense to this because the restaurant hired the tips for each by $8, $9 and $10 above the correct tipping amount. This has left me with an eeek feeling about this restaurant and their business practices. So won’t be returning! There are many just as good or better Mexican restaurants out there!”

“Excellence at its best! From entry to checkout, my experience was the epitome of extraordinary service. Now…the star of the show was the food starting with the Seafood Beggars, split between 3 of us, had each begging for more. The grit bowl did not disappoint my friend, we laughed, as she described each component in the bowl. My other friend wondered how a simple omelette could taste so good. The Egg Fusion was an elevated version of eggs, potatoes and meat. Don’t let that simple description fool you, paired with the chicken sausage, it’s amazing. Listen, when your toast taste delicious without adding anything to it, you know you’re at a place that knows food. The icing on the proverbial cake was Broc. “My family and I like finding small restaurants to try. Often times the “hole in the wall” establishments are where we find the best meals. This time was no different, from the moment we walked in we were treated extremely well the smiling faces from the ladies working in there was so welcoming. And the service was amazing. My son ordered the oxtails with white rice while my wife and I ordered the baked chicken, rice and beans, plantains and potato salad. When I say the 45 minute drive we took to get there was worth it im not exaggerating. The food was amazing, we have already decided that we will be regulars at this establishment moving forward.”

If that isn’t enough to grab you, they all but come from around the corner to hug you when you enter the establishment. If you aren’t familiar with the menu, they walk you through it in detail. “Went with my niece and it was a very good experience. Food was delicious and they let her get a banana pudding for her birthday which was very nice. The hot sauce tasted like it was cut with ketchup. Only one hot sauce I had was straight hot sauce, but that wasn’t me complaining, just saying. Very clean environment and professional staff. I’d definitely come back. The prices were beautiful as well and they have all different flavors for lemonade. I tried the pina colada. 10/10”
