The people are rude. The hot and sour soup was disgusting it tasted like pure vinegar. The sizzling rice soup was also disgusting. We will not be ordering from here again ?

Fried appetizers were very over cooked and tasted terrible. Small portions on entrees with extra amounts of plain white rice. Really disappointing.

Absolutely love the food! Quality is very good. Portion sizes are huge! Great food! Dining area is closed right now so that are only offering takeout. But we'll worth the drive from anywhere in the Rome area. You won't be disappointed.

Compares to the food we use to get from Buford Hwy. The best we have found in Rome.Fantastic soups and dishes. The lunch combos are plenty and reasonable. We tell all the new people we run into about China City.

Yeah the exterior needs a facelift, but what does your favorite BBQ place look like? China City is one of the few remaining formal sit down, order from a menu Chinese restaurants I know of. Not a buffet or order at the counter. The interior is traditional (at least for an American location) Chinese decor. This fish tank is sometimes a little grungy but huge and greets you at the door, kids love it. They also have some huge round tables to seat 8 or ten folks.The food speaks for itself. I have been going here since 1988, a true staple on the Rome restaraunt scene.See you there!

I have been eating at China City since my dad took our family there when I was 8 or 10yrs old and it is just as good today, if not better than it was then and I'm 58yrs old. I've never had anything that wasn't good from China City!

Can't go wrong with spicy house noodle soup or the ginger beef or chicken. I've eaten there and used delivery service and the food is consistent and very tasty.

Menu said deep fried, food came and looked as if it had been boiled for hours. I will pass. Nothing worse than boiled chicken and shrimp.
