Waited at the counter for nearly 5 minutes before someone took our order even though the business wasn't that busy. We ordered original chicken but got crispy instead. No one else was dining in at the time we were there. We only found one table that was clean. The floor was also in need of cleaning. Though I enjoyed the genre of the music being played it was too loud for a restaurant that seats customers. I've eaten at this location a couple other times and it was clean and ran in an orderly fashion. I was very disappointed how it had come down in service.

Last night was the best food I have had from KFC in a long time because it was extremely hot and fresh. The only reason it was that way was because I had placed a mobile order so I could skip the wait, but when I went into the store to collect my order, I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. When I asked why 30 minutes, he told me we had a "special order," and the only thing I thought might be special about it is the app asked if I wanted dark or mixed meat and I clicked dark, I never knew that was a special request. I wasn't happy with that but I was willing to wait, and the manager (he told me he was a manager, I never asked for one) told me they hadn't even started the order yet. I guess he was hoping that would make me not want the order anymore because he asked if I was still interested in waiting for it, which I was planning on. I guess I made the other staff mad by showing up at 9:18 when Google says they close at 11 every night, because I tried to make small talk with someone who was cleaning and they wouldn't even acknowledge me. I sat out of the way while everyone cleaned. The app says the order was being made at 9:03, but I didn't leave the building with my order until 9:45. I waited for a while and then I saw someone else walk out with food before I finally asked how much longer would it be for mine and the staff told me about 10 minutes. I then waited around 15 to 20 minutes more before I actually received my order. I was friendly with the staff, and the only one who really talked to me was the manager, and he wasn't really friendly or rude, but you could tell he was ready to leave. So when I left, I asked what was the best way for me to order so I didn't cause these problems for them next time. He made me feel like I was a problem just because I used the mobile app to order, because he told me that they usually don't take orders like mine at that time (regular family size meal + 2 extra biscuits), they were already cleaning everything out, turning away the orders of the people in the drive thru (I heard the manager telling the order taker to tell the people ordering that they can only have a #2 combo), and he also told me they closed at 10, which really confused me. When I asked how I could do better next time, he told me that they (he and staff) were just ready to go home and next time if I decide to order at that time (what I thought was 2 hours before close) to call the store before I place the mobile order. So, I enjoyed the hot food but I think I was lucky I even managed to get it. The manager told me they usually turn orders like mine down at 9pm, but that he decided to do it for me, like he was doing me a favor by completing my mobile order.So, I am really confused and disappointed by this whole interaction. The main things I want others to know after this is that this KFC location wants people to call before placing a mobile order, they actually close at 10pm instead of 11pm, and if you get in the drive thru a 9pm they will only offer you a #2 combo/whatever chicken is already cooked.

I haven't had KFC in so long so I decided to get it today and worst mistake ever .... first customer service is not where it should be I got to the window and the lady did not say anything just held her hand out smh .... to top it off I asked for ranch n she points to the bag and does not give me a receipt...They did not get my order correct and when I went in to have it fixed they told me well you got what you paid for but how would I know that if you did not give me a receipt... The chicken was not fresh at all and it just didn't taste the way I expected it to more like it's been sitting for some time

I ordered the filler box. Fries were cold, didn't get ANY sauces, and chicken was burnt. really dissatisfied with this establishment. This isn't the first time something like this has happened with Rome's kfc. Never go here. Unless you want to be disappointed. Something needs to change.

On Sunday September 10th 2023 at approx 230p, had the craziest experience I've ever had at a drive thru at fast food restaurant. I was the only one in line in the drive thru (I NOW SEE WHY LMAO). I make my order at the speaker as normal. I proceed to the window to pay. When I get to the window, I told him I would like to add coleslaw on to my order. He shakes his head no, vigorously. I said that's fine, I understand we cant add it on to this order, but Id like to pay for it separately. He shakes his head no again and says it's against policy. Like bro, I am literally trying to buy food from your establishment right now. Again, no one behind me I could understand if there was. I parked to go in and pay, and the same dude has the audacity to walk over and take my coleslaw order - I hope he could tell I was pissed. Told him he was a jack of all trades . That dude deserves to be fired for being a smart ass- the way he handled it with smugness. Again, I could understand the policy, if there were people behind me. But there was NO ONE. That was bananas.
