Love this place but it’s such a bummer we can’t bring our kids here in the evenings after work or weekends. We are beer lovers and a place on the river is such a hard time. Very neat place but we just can’t visit because of their rules against children. Years ago, brought my tiny baby nephew and we felt very unwelcome. They have since made a no children rule and with having two littles of my own now, we rarely visit. Shame bc it’s such a unique place that is much needed around here!

This beer garden, with its no-children policy, seems to have taken a page from Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter." The exclusion of families is akin to an unwarranted societal shunning, creating an atmosphere as cold and unwelcoming as the judgmental Puritanical town. Much like Hester Prynne, parents find themselves ostracized, their presence marked with an invisible scarlet letter 'C,' transforming the experience into a tale of exclusion and rigidity forcing the dollars that would be spent to other establishments. Child 6 months, parents received their scarlet letter ‘C’. In response to the owner below, it’s was 6:45, there was a food truck that smelled excellent, fresh air, nice lighting and seating. Plenty more than what most restaurants offer for children to enjoy. No one was posted at the entrance checking ID or enforcing policies. Nor are these policies posted on signage or the google maps information. We were allowed to seat get a stroller situated and sit, then asked to leave. Thus the feeling of being handed our scarlet letter. Your establishment is 100% in their right to have whichever policies best suit business. This is merely a consumer’s response to how such policies are enforced more than the policy itself.

Very nice outdoor space for a beer. I visited on a weekday and it was perfect to relax at sunset and unwind a bit. They have a wide selection of beers and the bartender was lovely, helping us pick out the best beer for each person.
