Outside is unassuming and simple, but the food was simply incredible. Presentation, flavor and overall food experience was on par with finest restaurants in Chicago and New York. Brisket was best I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Phenomenally good food! We ordered 6 dishes between the two of us as we got the chance to splurge a little… and we couldn’t decide which was best. But the brisket, greens, and gnocchi really stood out!

What a wonderful place! Amazing local seasonal food expertly prepared. Service was fantastic. What a gem to find in Rossville, just a little off the path to Chattanooga. Let's support and protect this gem!

We came to Mac’s kitchen for our friend's 29th birthday. I was very impressed with their menu selection. They source all their food from local farms; you can taste the freshness with every bite. The feeling I experienced here was the same when enjoying the holidays with my family. Mac’s brings you home. Mac’s warms the soul. Mac’s is a place that wants you back.

Our party loved everything about Mac's Kitchen and Bar. The server, Schwa (sp?) was attentive, helpful, and did a wonderful job describing the food and drinks. Every plate we received was made with care. The cornbread, cabbage, grits and greens, beets, mushroom hummus and carrots were all amazing! The brisket was described as resembling a large piece of chocolate cake, and it tasted even better than it looked! The bread pudding was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to go back, and I will enthusiastically recommend Mac's to all of my friends.

My family and I went here for brunch, and it was fantastic. Definitely want to go back for dinner to check out the rest of their offerings.

The food we had was good, but the menu is very limited, and has way too much of a Vegan focus. If that is what the menu is, you really should advertise that. Also, it appears that cars like to take pit stops in their parking lot. I'm not sure if they are Uber/Lyft drivers, or what, but they sit in the parking lot with their headlights aiming at the building, where there are windows and people are sitting. We had headlights in our eyes half the time. The staff should go out to the parking lot and ask cars that are just sitting there for extended periods of times to turn off their lights.

We really enjoyed this treasure! The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and polite. The food was great and the overall atmosphere was unique and peaceful. We will definitely visit again.

My first time visiting. I had a pleasant time with the staff. They answered all my questions, asked what I thought about my food. The items arrived one at a time. Getting to the restaurant is easy. Parking is limited. Parking currently is gravel which could be a mobility issue. The atmosphere is for single adults, couples adults and small groups of adults. Not recommended for children or large groups (4 or 5 seats at one or two tables). Reservations preferred. Did accept my walk-in shortly after opening at 5pm. Spend about 60 minutes. Prices are good. Quality and presentation was fantastic. Menu currently is more vegetable plates, than protein plates. Will visit again.

Morgan and Kelsey were fantastic at explaining the menu and supplying great conversation! Enjoyed a date night special with 5 courses and a bottle of wine. Every course was unique and delicious. The wine complimented it all. Will definitely be back over and over

Where do I start? I had been stalking them on instagram and had high expectations because everything looked amazing. None of my food or my friends came out at the same time. Service was a disaster and we were sitting at the bar. I don't even know what to say except a bit of advice. In a business, systems help. Staff need to know who's doing what and what your protocol is. We only sat at the bar because we had no idea what to do. Did we wait to be seated or seat ourselves? We just made the decision because no one greeted us or gave us any direction. Once we sat at the bar it took a long time to get drinks and one of them was a beer in a little fridge next to us. Also, thank god my drink didn't include the pomegranate seed that I saw being put in it later because the bartender had his hands in a container with water picking them out in front of us. Gross is all I can say and absolutely no awareness. Bizarre.
