I ordered the ox tail meal. The food tastes great. The issue is there was more far then meat. It certainly wasn't worth the price. The server did nothing to address the issue.

I have been to 12 Lunar a number of times and their food is excellent. We've had the Wings, Egg Rolls, Hot and Sour Soup and Fire Wok Steak and Kung Pao Chicken. They were all delish. The interior is clean, modern and comfortable. Friendly service as well! Please give it a try!

Great place for a variety of asian dishes with very generous portions. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, which came with a side of wings. Both were great! The restaurant itself feels modern and well maintained.

Just tried for the first time. Other reviews are accurate. Food was very good. Great variety. We enjoyed multiple appetizers and specialty cocktails. Entrees are generous portions. Enjoyed seconds the next day. Staff was wonderful. The space is also very nice. Easy parking to boot. Support this place!

Amazing! I've been trying to find a good Chinese place in the Alpharetta/ Roswell area for a while and I found it here. I ordered Mongolian beef from the lunch menu and it didn't disappoint. For $15 there is the main dish, rice, a dumpling, a fried shrimp, little salad and a bowl of soup. All of it was delicious. I could have had it for dinner; there was so much food. Fresh veggies and it was all hot as well. The packaging is notable as well. The meal comes in a great little tray with lid that keeps everything in its own section. Can't say enough how impressive that was. Attention to detail is key for a business and they nailed it here. Great food, packaged great and it was fast as well. Will be ordering from again soon!

We had dinner for the first time at Lunar, and we were impressed; we ordered the shrimp egg rolls and the chicken dumplings, and they were so good! So were the fried rice and the black pepper-tossed noodles. We loved our drinks and dessert and can’t wait to go back. The service was

Finally an upscale if you will, but not high priced Chinese food restaurant.Just saw that it was new where the location has been 10 things since I’ve lived in Roswell ?Great Chinese food without all that MSG, fresh vibrant colors and flavors. Multiple sauces with every order and different flavors in each.Had the fried rice, a Chinese, classic that most people get wrong. I have close friends who are from Hong Kong so Ive been taught what it supposed to be and I’ve tasted what it supposed to be and this chef nailed it.Also, had the chicken eggrolls stuffed with a lot of chicken instead of a lot of breading. Cooked to a perfect crisp. Then had the dumplings very good steamed great presentation. In the end we had an entrée shared the chicken and green beans. The chicken was tender. melt in your mouth OMG. Get that great wok smoky flavor as well. Not over sauce not over salted.Great atmosphere. Love the what they have done inside the place. Huge bar open seating. They’ve got a patio when the summer spring hits. Will I go back? Oh heck yeah, it’s my new Chinese fave in Roswell. I don’t like what I call cookie cutter Chinese places where they all taste the same and high in salt/MSG.The 12 Lunar is several notches above the rest and and Roswell has been needing this level for years. Finally!I hope to God they make it, if they don’t it will only be because of the location. ???

Stumbled upon this cute new spot in Roswell. It is in the same plaza as Longhorn. The first thing I noticed was the modern Chinese decor, but with lighting where you can actually see your food. I find most restaurants nowadays are very dark. They also had a full bar, so I knew this place was not traditional. I came here with a few other people, and surprisingly it wasn't too busy so we were able to be sat quickly. I recommend getting a normal table, their booths were a little stiff and the table was slightly skinny. Food: I noticed the menu was very simple, like I said Modern Chinese eats. Normally Chinese menus are pages long. Its nice to see a simple menu for once, but I think most of the dishes were simple. Not a lot stood out to me. It took awhile before I settled on the Cha Su noodles. The noodles were a great flavor, they were very soft. However I thought the broth was very bland & the pork was dry. The flavor on the pork was there, but it tastes dry. Perhaps they used a leaner cut of meat. The second was the Scallion Chicken. While the chicken was good, I felt like it lacked that fire flavor you get from the wok. I easily fixed it with the chili oil & soy sauce they had on the table. Over all the restaurant was decent in food. I wouldn't recommend it if you want a more traditional taste, but its great when you just want a quick bite of Chinese food. The staff were really friendly, although noisy at times. The kitchen/service area is out in the open so it can't really be helped. The place was new and very clean. I think if they perfected the food, this could become a new trendy spot to hangout at.

Delightful find for Chinese flavors in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. Standouts were the braised oxtail with fried rice and the tomato based hot/sour soup. They may sound simple but were so tasty. Wontons had perfect skin and fillings for the wonton soup and spicy wonton dishes. Singapore noodles could compete with any of the ones we’ve had at other establishments. If this place was in a mainstream Asian area, it would still be on top due to its flavors but a bit pricey. Price matches the area. We would still venture back and try more of the wok infused flavors.
