This is a nice spot in downtown Roswell with decent views of the passers-bys.. right before you get to the main strip. the food was excellent and the service was quick and courteous.. our server recommended some dishes that turned out to be really good. The Cesar salad and the gumbo were really tasty.. and also the crawfish etouffee..It's a nice spot to chill and have some drinks and people watch while enjoying a nice meal for lunch or dinner..The only thing this place was missing is some raw oysters, and it would be a great evening spot with the guys or with your girlfriend.

Great place with great food!We were just looking for a simple restaurant while traveling through the state when we came across this amazing spot!Definitely coming back on a future trip.

Got the crawfish etoufee recently. Really salty, presentation was poor at best. Was really tiny crawdads with a light brown sauce that looked like gravy and rice. Pretty small portion. Cannot overemphasize how salty it was. For $23 bucks before tip, this is a total ripoff.I may try the bbq or wings next time. This was disappointing for a supposedly vintage Creole dish. Not sure how this place is rated so highly, but I would continue to push the "black-owned business" theme so people feel obligated to give good ratings. They are definitely not deserved, though the staff was really good.

Went on a weeknight. It wasn't too crowded. There was only one server for the whole place and it took a very long time just to get menus and drinks. The BBQ was fine. Not amazing, but decent. The BBQ sides were about the same - acceptable but not awesome. The Opelousas was awful. Nothing like the picture online. Shrimp were chewy and overcooked. Everything was drenched in sauce that congealed almost instantly. Not very appetizing and quite a disappointment for $32.

My son and I could not get service for a while then we noticed two tables that set the guest after us got service so we asked about it and was told our server is coming. Long story short the manager came over an apologized and said she would be taking our order. If you or the people that work for you prefer not to service black people just let me know when I walk up it will save my time and yours.

I really wanted to like this place. I think the idea of the cuisine is really neat but sadly we were disappointed. The service was slow. I understand that the waitress can not control the kitchen but she barely checked on our table. She also allowed the appetizer plates to pile up and never removed them when our entrees came. My son’s food came about 10 minutes after everyone else food almost as if the order wasn’t put in with everyone else’s. The hostess kept having to tend to the table because the waitress was no where to be found. Even after all this if the food was spectacular I would have rated it better. But I got the crawfish etouffee and it was pretty bland. I will say my husband got the brisket po boy and it was really good. Maybe stick to the bbq type food to stay on the safe side.

We sat outside on a nice summer evening. There was good people watching. The Nawlins Shrimp had a delish sauce that was great for dipping. I loved the Bayou Bang Shrimp and enjoyed the Jambalaya. My wife wasn’t crazy about the salmon. The staff was very friendly and helpful but our server must have been new. They didn’t offer water (we finally asked after finishing the starter) and was MIA except for when they brought our alcohol and dishes. I had to ask another server to find them so I could let them know they brought me the wrong drink. All that said, I like the place enough to go back and recommend it to people with a Cajun craving.

We enjoyed our recent dining experience at Bayou Q. Selena took good care of us, and the food was delicious! We are big fans of Henry's Louisiana Grill in Acworth, but we were happy to find some of the same delicious dishes so close to us in Roswell. It's like a scaled-back Henry's. I recommend going on Tuesdays for $5 Margaritas.Parking: Small parking lot in the back of the restaurant.

Food was amazing. I started out with the gumbo, then did the salmon, and finished off with the bread pudding. My wife was out of town and this place popped up on my news page. It is a hidden gem and was amazed from the service to the food. It was my first time there and now that I know that they have authentic loiusiana style food i will be there more often

Food was okay. Brisket was little dry and the bread pudding tasted like alcohol.Service was relatively good. Seemed like it was just one server taking care of everything.Patio is nice but more of a aesthetic destination than a foodie place

Do not understand where the good reviews come from. Shrimp and Grits where mediocre and for that much to expensive, the brisket sandwich was a disappointment (very dry bread, no-taste-sauce, tasteless brisket "crumbs") with old cole-slaw. 2nd beer never came (canceled it when we stopped lunch), water hasn't been refilled. After we paid we said goodbye to the waiter and he did not even look at us!Terrible experience and for sure no recommendation!

This NOLA Girl is always looking for a taste of home here in metro ATL. A small group came for lunch. We had several appetizers - N.O. shrimp, boudin balls, wings. Entrees included a spicy chicken sandwich, brisket, shrimp & grits and shrimp & tasso pasta. We agreed that it was all good but not great. I may be wrong, but it seemed to me that the sauce used in the shrimp appetizer, the shrimp & and grits, and the shrimp pasta were all the same sauce. I left a bit disappointed, unfortunately.

Horrible experience. Food is normally great here, but today was not it. Brisket was served cold and very bland in taste. The beans were packed with garlic(not appealing). The Mac and cheese was watery and also not seasoned. The oysters were darn near alive when they served us! The best thing was the water.
