This used to be my favorite spot for GF empanadas--specifically empanadas de pabellón. They were perfect for a quick bite since they're right by the car wash I frequent on a weekly basis. We've also had so many of their other dishes and they were good. The restaurant has plenty of seating and is typically very clean. What began to turn me off about this establishment was the jump in prices and decline in customer service. I have had to greet staff on multiple occasions because they have been either 1. completely distracted by their phone or 2. mentally on planet Pluto. While in the restaurant eating, I have watched countless opportunities where the front desk person could have better serviced customers by 1. Greeting 2. Asking questions 3. Giving suggestions 3. Upselling of drinks & desserts 4. Talking about the loyalty program. Paiiinnfulll to watch. Unfortunately for them, I went from being a weekly customer to mayyyybe once a quarter? The past 2 visits have not impressed me at all. The only positive that has come out of this experience is that I began to make my fav Venezuelan dishes at home since they use simple ingredients, mostly GF options, and easy to make. Win for me, I guess?

First time visit due to the reviews. Food was very good. Had empanadas and arepas and shrimp tacos. However, food is way overpriced. Crazy how people capitalize off the perception that Americans are rich so we'll just price gauge them. Also, one of the reviews mentioned the arepa being served w shredded cheese fresca. I happen to agree that arepas are typically served with melted cheese and not shredded cheese. It was mozzarella that was used but it was cold and plentiful. I just asked them to microwave it to melt it and they were happy to do so. It was delish warm and gooey cheese. I live super close but prob wont go bc its just too expensive for the amt of food u get. Perhaps go during arepa bogo half off specials which would help make it a better value.

First time at this restaurant and I was soo disappointed. I ordered the cylantro bowl with chicken and the chicken was dry and without flavor. I was surprised that the chicken looked like scrambled eggs…nothing like the picture and even more disappointing that it didn’t taste good at all. The chicken tasted like it was made this morning and I ordered around 4pm. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it might serve this restaurant to make food fresh. The rice and beans were just ok…I had to go home and add more flavor to it. I threw away the chicken and made grilled shrimp from home. I tried to salvage my $16 meal. Not a good first impression. I was curious how Venezuelan food tasted and I don’t think what I ordered represented that. My suggestion is maybe ask patrons if they’ve been to the restaurant before and give them your best dish. Very nice staff though

I lived in the complex nearby, and this was one of my favorite spots in that lot. It was reasonable and delicious. The Cylantro's bowl and there sauce was always a good.choice. and the Sancocho when it was available. Usually was sold out later in the day. The cachapa was an excellent, heavy meal. And the arepas were good. The Venezuelan Criollo or shredded beef was good as a plate or in an arepa.

You gotta try this place! Just walk in, your nose will convince you and the food tastes even better than it smells! The empanada de pabellon has become my new addiction. I've been to all 3 locations now (Woodstock, Kennesaw, & Roswell as of the writing of this review) and each one has delivered hot, fresh, delicious food. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Keep it up Cylantros! Y'all rock!Edit: With my most recent meal, I ordered the 8 oz extra sauce & it comes in this cute little Ball jar! ?

Long story short, if you are black, don’t support this business. They don’t like you. And they will let that be known.

Some of the cakes were frozen and cold inside. The burnt and small queyoyos! I would not go back

Usually I get the “Sanchocho” Venezuelan Homemade style beef & chicken soup. It’s my favorite so makes me remind my home kitchen. Also the “Tequeños” are awesome and for dessert I do “Quesillo” a Venezuelan Criole style flan. Their kitchen is flavorful and tasty.Parking: Plenty parking spots in the shopping centerWheelchair accessibility: Have a ramp

Cylantros is a counter service restaurant serving very solid Venezuelan food. They also have locations in Woodstock and Kennesaw. I visited the Roswell one. On Monday and Tuesday, they have a BOGO half off on arepas, their main entree. I would definitely go back again. Keep in mind, it's not fancy inside- they're just there to serve good food.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is polite and helpful. The location is great. The only reason I have them 4 stars for service is because I’ve had to wait around for a good minute on two separate trips. But I can say it was still worth the wait.
