While the food here is always absolutely delicious and the staff are always so friendly, the parking lot is ATROCIOUS! There are bumps and potholes everywhere, trying to park is as if you’re going off road! I love this place but please for the love of all that is holy, repave the parking lot

Stopped in for lunch today. We each had a large rib end sandwich. I had mac and cheese, and Deb had fried okra. The sandwiches were great. The meat had a nice chewy texture and a great flavor. They were a generous size, and we brought some home for a snack later. The fried okra was really good! The mac and cheese was okay. It was nice and cheesy, but I would have liked it to be a little chewy, not soupy.Overall, it was a very good lunch.

Got takeout and I specifically asked for buns 3 times, and they gave me bread and 1 bun. They don't give you any ketchup so ask for it. Didn't discover this till I got home. My mother got very sick from the food. Not sure if it was the large amount of vinegar in the sauce or what but she immediately got sick after eating this food. We threw it all away once she got sick.

We went here for some BBQ. I ordered the regular BBQ sandwich with baked beans and my wife had the chicken roll with fried okra. My sandwich was hot and good. The sauce was hot and spicy, more like a vinegar based sauce than the ketchup type. I wish I had gotten the large sandwich instead of the regular. I didn't see french fries on the menu and I would have liked to have had them too.

First it's been a few years since I went to to this place. I was with a friend and thought "oh how nice I'll have some ribs."I actually had a little hesitation driving into the parking lot that is in bad need of repairs. But I thought paving is expensive.Then I had a second thought when I put my hand on the door that was dirty and sticky. We were greeted by a friendly fellow that took us to our table.We both stopped and washed up in the bathrooms which were disgusting. But we were there and ordered food from a nice waitress and her trainee.Food came out in a timely manner.My friend's BBQ pork sandwich was okay.My rib plate was presented fine, but the ribs were not tender, sides tasted like out of a box or can, so without being insulting I saw the manager that sat us and I mentioned the ribs to him and that we had been previous customers and that these might have been cooked longer so they were more tender. He said "oh you got the large ribs they don't get tender they don't fall off the bones". He turned around and left. We finished our meal, paid, walked out past our friendly server, past the same manager who coincidentally turned away from us and we left without a thank you or apology.At least paint, mop and wipe off your front door. Not likely to go back.Parking: Parking lot is full of holes be careful.

Went for Thursday dinner, 7:00. Has bbq pork plate, quite generous portion but was not very tender, in fact quite unremarkable. Bbq may have been standing too long. Sauces, creamy coleslaw and fries good. Fried green tomatoes quite decent. Restaurant was not crowded at all and service was quite attentive. But probably would not rank as a high choice for a return visit.

We both ordered a regular chicken barbeque sandwich, which comes with one side, and an extra side of French fries. We were pleasantly surprised that the food came so quickly (Saturday at 1:00 and they weren't busy), and the chicken was overflowing on the bun. BBQ sauce was on the side. The cole slaw was excellent and the baked beans were good. Excellent service. Would recommend.
