Great, friendly service. Allergy sensitive staff (and peanut/gluten free) which is a huge plus for us.

First time here and love the monkey business. My daughter had a plain chocolate with delicious sprinkles on it. The staff was friendly and the store is nice in a great neighborhood. I don't live in the area but I would love to come back again.

Update 9/10/2020I returned to this business because I wanted to try their shaved ice. The prices feel slightly high because they charge around $4.50 for a shaved ice.I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the shaved ice. The employee making the dish shaved a mini mountain of ice. It comes in a colorful bowl with a bright neon looking spoon. They don't have a lot of flavors. They have some standard flavors such as cherry, but they are missing grape.I decided to try the cherry flavored shaved ice. When I've purchased these in the past from local food trucks, the cherry shaved ice is typically bright red. This time the color was closer to light pink, and it didn't quite taste like cherry. It was definitely fruity and flavorful, but the syrup they pour over the shaved ice does not taste like cherry.I'm not sure if I'll return for their shaved ice, but I'll probably come back in order to try some of their frozen custard.

I gotta go with 3 stars, which I hate to do. The only negative is that the custard was a bit too sweet for my personal tastes. I tend to enjoy more mellow flavorings. The atmosphere was solid, service was acceptable but did not stand out as excellent. Obviously being a quant local custard shop on Canton Street always provides a good experience, with enhanced customer service and some slight modifiers to their menu flavor offerings we go to 5 stars.

The custard was delicious. The customer service was terrible. Two young women snapping at each other and the order taker was rude. A smile, welcome and nice attitude should be REQUIRED to work here. Suggest hiring retired people rather than young people who did not want to be there.

Truly phenomenal frozen custard, and flavor combos that'll excite your tastebuds. We sampled 5 different sundaes, and plain custard, every single one was outstanding. So good that it's hard to pick a favorite. Loved Berry Berry, Monkey Business, and Chocolate Bomb was truly da bomb! The chocolate sauce has sea salt, which kicks it to a whole new level of amazing! We enjoyed the outdoor seating, under the string lights and a stroll down the Canton afterwards. Best part of coming to Vintage Frozen Custard is knowing you're supporting a small black-owned business. Try Vintage, you won't be disappointed!

Very disappointed that their hours aren't updated on YELP. Says they're open till 9 but not the case we understand the COVID19...just had a vanload of disappointed folks!

You need to update your hours on Yelp which says you are open until 9. Walked all the way here with kids and your door says you closed at 8. Bummer.

I was in the area yesterday and stopped by for some ice cream. It was hot outside so it was perfect. We got three different sundaes. The ice cream were presentable and tastes great. There were seating outside too. The menu was easy to read. The price were reasonable.

The custard was pretty good-the banana push-pop has a great flavor and is just the right size to walk around with. But, the prices are steep-$17 for 2 push pops and 2 small sundaes is a bit much. Only 1 person was working, so service was extremely slow.

Visited twice during a recent stay in Roswell. On the first visit, they had run out of custard, which gave us the chance to try the push pops and popsicles. We thought they were good, not great. On our next visit, the full menu was available, although it does not seem that they are currently doing the flavor of the day as they ramp back up after being closed for the virus. Chocolate was very good, as was the hot fudge we had mixed in. We unanimously gave the custard higher marks than the push pops/popsicles. Customer service wasn't great; on our second visit the lone employee in the place had her music cranked and had to turn it down to talk to us. As soon as we walked out the door, she cranked it back up, so we got to enjoy it while we sat on the porch. Definitely worth a try when you're walking around Roswell.

We love to support local businesses and we do often! I have been in Vintage frozen Custard several times before and although the customer service has never been great it's one of the only treat shops in the area and what kid doesn't love an ice cream cone in the summer. Today before walking in with my 3 kids and my mother a little further behind us we read the sign on the door which says max occupancy 5 people. I asked my son to peek in and see if anyone was in there. 1 person was walking out so we proceeded. While I was talking to my kids about their order my Mom walked in behind us and a man sitting at a table with another man off to the side of the store SHOUTED very rudely that their was a 5 person policy and she needed to go outside... I looked around and said she's with us and thought to myself we're 5 people. He spoke over me and repeated that my mother needed to go outside with absolutely no hint of respect or courtesy or polite explanation. I think the right thing to do as an employee of the business or as it turns out the OWNER is ask your customer politely to please wait outside until someone exits. Although in this circumstance I'm still confused how we the customers were a total of 5 people and the owner, his friend and the employee were 3 additional people.. None of it made any sense. We will never go back, in fact I would have turned around and left today because of the rude treatment but I didn't want to disappoint the kids. As we were walking out I heard the man speak just as rudely to his young female employee and I felt quite bad for her. There are too many businesses out there that appreciate their customers and are happy for your patronage to waste your time and money at a place like this.

So great! The vanilla custard was so creamy and smooth. Not too sweet. The berry sundae was amazing. Can't wait to go back!!

To Management: We are Roswell residence and unfortunately had a poor experience tonight at Vintage along with at least 20 others. Tonight the employee was a bit unprofessional & closed 6 min before original closing time (8pm - we called to check since we noticed covid has changed hours understandably). Yelp also says 9pm which wasn't accurate, so about 20-30 people were disappointed as they attempted to stop by - we are currently on the porch telling everyone it's closed... We love your ice cream and location in Roswell, and just hope you can actually stay open until 9 and serve your full menu, and maybe tell the girl closing not to blast her music as she closes earlier than planned! Thanks!

I’m a custard freak because I love that stuff. It’s a bit expensive but totally worth it
