We visit all the time about once every other week, if you like southern, true southerndown home cooking, without the flair, but as it should be traditionally done, this is the place.
The Country Buffet catered our Wedding and let me tell y'all that fried chicken was delicious! Highly recommend the squash casserole too. I was told by many of our guests it was the best buffet style wedding food they ever had. The staff were professional and accommodating. 5 star rating! Book them for your next event. You won't be disappointed.

Staff was non chalent, didn’t say hello welcome, nothing. We had to ask if we seat ourselves, they seat us, etc and then had to ask if we go to buffet or what. I guess not used to out of town visitors. Food was ok, mostly cold, what was left. We got there an hour before closing (sign said open 3 hrs for lunch) so thought things would be warm and kept full. I’ve like to try local owned places however this was not friendly place to visit.
