The best biscuit and gravy in town. If you are a biscuit and gravy (sausage gravy) lover, then this is a place you should not miss. My wife wanted to go to this place for a long time and finally we made it and we loved it. We started the order with a couple of drinks: Bloody Mary (asked the server to make it spicy) and Latte. I had better Blood Mary in other brunch places. The person who was supposed to make Latte was busy or was not in, so our server had to make the Latte. She did her best to give us a good Latte. So, I would give 5 stars for the effort. For the brunch we ordered Fried Chicken biscuit with Pimento cheese, Spicy fried chicken benedict with waffle, and Corn beef hash. We had to order 2 sausage gravy as a side. As mentioned in the start of my review, their biscuits and gravy are the best in the town. Their biscuit has flavour and is not dry. It has a beautiful crust on the outside and soft inside. The sausage gravy was not overly sweet hence the combination of biscuit and gravy was savoury in nature. The chicken in the Fried Chicken biscuit with Pimento cheese was cooked to perfection. In some places you will find the chicken breast too thick as a result it tasted the same all over the place. If you order Spicy fried chicken benedict with waffle you will get spicy fried chicken and trust me this is coming from a guy who loves spicy food. Corn beef hash was decent but the portion for the corn beef hash was good in comparison to other dishes we ordered. Now I have a huge appetite so for me I needed two brunch dishes for most one should be enough. The service was impeccable. Even though the server (Melanie) was very busy she kept a tab on every table, and she interacted with them asking about their Thanksgiving plan or weekend plans. So full marks on marks on the service. You will find plenty of parking spaces.

Slow service. No one sat us as we walked in. There was like 3 other people in the restaurant total. Service was so slow. Our waiter came and took our order after a while. Then left and came back saying he forgot our order and we needed to remind him. Our food came out eventually but not all of it. Had to wait on some items to come. Silverware was dirty in the napkin and we never got a clean set instead we had to share one clean fork amongst two of us because no one gave us a new one. Food was bland, watery and cold. Not even salt was added. Not sure how this place has a high rating. I understand why there were barely any people in there now.....

This place has amazing food and excellent service!! We went with a group of six and they were extremely accommodating. One of our family has noise sensitivity and they turned the music off in the separate room and put us near the back. 1st time any restaurant has done something like this for us! The food was fantastic as well. We ordered the patty melt, tuna salad croissant, vegetable minestrone soup, chicken biscuit with pimento cheese, salmon eggs Benedict, tomato soup, chicken salad, and bloody Mary’s. We can honestly say that everyone in our party was blown away with the quality of the food. This will be our new go to brunch place!! Thank you for everything and making this a memorable experience for my family

I love chicken and biscuits so when my 36th week pregnancy craving hit, hubs and I headed on down to Apron & Ladel. We had to wait maybe 15 minutes for a table which wasn't bad and we were sat on the back patio once we had a table. The patio was lovely and we were under a covered portion. The service was some of the worst we have had in a while - which is the only reason this is 4 stars. The food was out of this world we left so satisfied.. when we were finally able to pay and leave. We ordered the following: Spicy Fried Chicken Benedict ($16) & a side Pimento Cheese ($1) Side Chicken Sausage Gravy ($4) Fried Chicken Biscuit and Pimento Cheese ($15) add Bacon ($3) Natural Honey Soda - Blueberry Dream ($5) I tried to order the mushroom gravy but they do not make it anymore so I got the only sausage one they had. It was really good despite my not liking breakfast sausage. My spicy chicken benedict was indeed spicy! I enjoyed it so much, but some bites had a lot more of the spice than others. I'd probably get the same dish not spicy next time but will absolutely get it again it was so good! Hubs loved his fried chicken biscuit. It came with homemade strawberry preserves which were so lovely I stole them. Hubs ordered a cold brew which he said tasted of regular iced coffee. Our server never came back in time for him to request something different so he drank it. This was probably the best chicken and biscuits we have found since we moved here a few years ago & we can't wait to go back!

Montana was great server! She was ver attentive and Knew we drank a lot of water so kept our water glass full lol! I ordered the corn beef hash and I like the fact that it was fresh corn beef but I did not like the sauce or gravy that was poured over it. I took home the leftovers and separated out the gravy and it tasted much better!! Potatoes were a little undercooked although I asked for it to be well done. Still deciding whether I want to return to this place even if they had one of the better servers I've had in a while :-)

So I happen to see this spot because it's new on the Marriott eats listing. Apparently the biscuits are supposed to be good, from what I gathered. I got there and got seated immediately. It wasn't super crowded (it's 9am on a Sunday) so that was good. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly, and had no problem smiling. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. It has an inside which has a nice amount of space. It also has an outdoor area in the back of the building. You will here some music, but it was not overpowering to where you can't talk to others at your table. There is a bar area that looks like they do ALL sorts of coffee things. I didn't partake, but they look to have plenty for coffee drinkers. The food was really good. I got the chicken sausage biscuit, corned beef hash, and the biscuit bites. The biscuit bites came out with preserves, they were warm and the preserves were super tasty. The sausage biscuit was good, it was a nice size for a biscuit sandwich. I could have honestly had just that and been satisfied! The hash was great. Came out hot and was mixed with a lot of favor. Had green peppers and red peppers and such, good flavor! I would go back, for sure!

I love this place! They specialize in biscuits and coffee, and everything I've tried from the menu has been a success. The berry jam and biscuits is my favorite. Coffee is nice and strong. I like how there are 3 different seating areas, an indoor spot with green plant decor, a second room that's more clean and minimal, as well as an outdoor patio. Despite being in a busy shopping center, the outdoor porch overlooks a wooded area... you really feel like you can get away from it all. Service has always been warm and friendly on my every visit. Definitely worth hitting up if you're just north of Atlanta!

Ordered delivery. Sausage biscuit was good. The other was a pretty sad looking bagel and lox. Needs at least double the lox for $14. Potatoes were decent.

I was in the Dunwoody/ Sandy Springs area one Saturday and was looking for a new place to have a Solo Brunch. After searching on Yelp, I discovered Apron + Ladle. It was located in a shopping center so parking was very easy to find. Upon walking in, there was not much of a crowd which was exactly what I was looking for being that I was dining by myself. I was immediately seated and given time to look at the menu. After discussing with the waitress and reading reviews, I decided to get the spicy chicken Benedict and the biscuit bites. I also treated myself with a peach Bellini. The food portions were larger than I expected so I had enough food to take home as leftovers. Everything was absolutely delicious and I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu. I knocked off 1 star because the waitress was not as attentive as she could have been. At times I did feel like I was waiting a little longer than necessary to place my order and get my bill to check out. If you're looking for a nice low key brunch spot, this place is perfect.

Service was awesome. Sitting out on the back porch, the view is incredible and so liberating. Had the egg white scramble and it was very watery and wet on the bottom, didn't taste good at all. The sweet tea wasn't even remotely sweet, but the honey sodas were incredible. The Skillet potatoes and everything bagel were great though.

Out one early morning and saw this spot in my dining passport book and decided to give it a try. I was greeted at the door and motioned to the bar since it was just me this time. I looked over the menu and ask the bartender for recommendations and she said the spicy chicken biscuit. So I said okay with a hot black grey Earl tea. Food was prompt and looked delish however the silverware was dirty so had to send it back. The bartender was very friendly and checked on me just enough to make me experience good. Biscuit was a little hard but the sauce was great.

Stopped in here b/c my daughter had an appointment in the area. The service was good, but the food was average. I ate here twice. My latte was awesome. I had brisket one day and it was just ok - could have used more seasoning. I can tell the biscuits are homemade and they were delicious but the food with in or in it just needed a little 'something more' to step things up.

My sister and I decided to try Apron and Ladle for brunch. We went on a Friday around noon so we didn't need a reservation. As soon as you walked into the restaurant you were greeted by warm decor and a friendly staff. We were seated almost immediately, but unfortunately it took a bit longer for someone to take our orders. We ordered biscuits and coffee as our appetizers, and decided on the chicken and waffles for our entrees, and mimosas as our final drinks. The main entree was delicious and very filling, so filling that I had more than enough to take home for later!

Stopped here with my dog and boyfriend for brunch. We were able to sit outside with our pup and they were nice enough to bring separate bowl for water for him. We tried a special which was the cheesy biscuits. They tasted very similar to red lobster biscuits but would have been better if they were hot. They were just room temp. We also had the bacon which was just average and also not hot. Would not get 3 strips for $4. Lastly we got the French toast biscuit. This was my favorite by far. The berries with the whip cream and maple syrup. We also got the bottle of champagne with oj for $25.
