This was our first time at Il Giallo and we truly enjoyed the experience. From the time we got there to the time we left, everyone we encountered could not have been more pleasant. They were also pretty busy. Our server Nicole was engaging and attentive. She shared suggestions and was patient with our questions on the menu. We shared the shrimp appetizer, caprese salad and the chicken parmigiana and everything was delicious. We even stopped by the bar for an after dinner drink and got to meet bartender Sharon who was also very pleasant. It truly was a great experience and we look forward to our next visit!

Really great overall experience. The food was incredibly great, as well as wine suggestions. We didn't have reservations, so we chose the full service at the bar, which didn't disappoint. The host was confused about table wait time: at first 45 minutes, then almost immediately, then in 15 minutes, and lastly, it is ready now. All of this within a couple of minutes, I kid you not. It was annoying as we had just ordered drinks at the bar so there we decided to stayWe'll come back for the full experience.Octopus appetizer was very good. Veal with pasta amazing.Tab can quickly ramp up. We were a bit surprised with the final tally having shared and entree and a not too expensive bottle of wine. It was totally worth it, just not a place we can come a few times per month like we'd love to!

The food was very good. However, my grandson ordered a half plate of buttered noodles/pasta. When the bill came we were charged $23.00. That is ridiculous. We asked the waitress about it and her comment was things are expensive today.

First time dining here and definitely will not be the last! Sat at the bar with Sharon as our bartender and she is personality plus!! She recommended items for our first time and we are so happy we took her advice (although I am sure EVERYTHING is spectacular). Homemade pasta and the focaccia bread was literally to die for. Cannot wait to come back and visit Sharon!

Had a wonderful, relaxing evening at IL Giallo. Our server, Meleah, did an excellent job. Just the right amount of attention. Dinner was cooked perfectly. For appetizers we had the calamari which was lightly battered, crispy and not at all greasy. The eggplant was also an excellent choice for a starter. The salmon, the chicken picatta and veal chop are all worthy of a repeat visit.

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly and did amazingly well at answering all our questions (and we had many.) We live 4 hours away and will definitely plan to go again when we are in Atlanta.

I’m back in Utah, and I find myself having cravings for this food. The Italian food at this restaurant was so extraordinary. While in the restaurant, you can see them hand-make all of their pasta. Don’t go to this restaurant if you’re in a rush — because in super Italian fashion, they will allow you to relax and take your time and enjoy your food and the atmosphere. Our waitress was superb and took outstanding care of us. She recommended a red Italian wine that was so light and delicious. If I’m ever back in Atlanta, I will return to this restaurant!

Wow Il Giallo has gone downhill. Frequent this place and as of recently service & food quality fails. Will not go back! Sandy Springs in need of solid Italian eats.

Sooo delicioso!! Highly highly recommend! It's like a hidden gem in Sandy springs. From the focaccia to the pasta to the bombolini and crustado. 10/10!! Oh and even the Caesar salad is a favorite. I can't wait to go back!!

Il Giallo may be the best fine Italian restaurant in the northern Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. It is our go-to destination when we want special occasion Italian food. It is elegant and lively, you are not packed together like sardines, service is excellent and the food well done and approachable. My only gripe is that the wine list is slightly overpriced on the bottom end.
