I been here couple of times and would highly recommended it. The Polish hot dog and the Italian beef were amazing. I like the decor of the place with some cool photographers of the legends. Definitely a must try if you haven't already.

Great Place to get authentic Chicago Style Hot Dogs. Elvis; the owner is great. This place has a lot of nostalgia too.

Up until 3 yrs ago I lived in Chicago for 29 yrs and was missing a Chicago dawg. I did a search one day and found this place and the food is really good. It hits the spot every time. Additionally They are polite and professional. I will continue to return. Thanks

The owner switched the drink cup size to a coffee cup size! What the heck! If you need to make more money, raise the drink prices! This move would not play well in Chicago at their Chicago Hot Dog stands!Today they have straws without wrappers! They told me they can’t get straws with wrappers. Tell that to Wendy’s, McDonalds and Burger King. So they now they hand you a straw from behind the counter (along with napkins!) in a napkin. What the heck?!

This was my first time attempting too eat at Mike’s . My real issue is that they only have one type of bun to choose from for there hotdogs and they contain poppy seeds on the outside of the bun which I happen to be allergic too. I did ask if they had a plain bun and was told no, they only serve on poppy seed buns. If your going to have a hotdog business you should have more than one bun to choose from. If they change this I will definitely be back to try.

Best dog in Atlanta in rapidly developing area next to a yummy cafe. Give them a try. The owner was extremely informative and excited for his business. Give them a try.

I love this little place! So lowkey and delicious. Definitely a hot dog lover being a Midwest chick so I had to try Mike's. I always get a Jumbo chili cheese with mustard and onions. The beef sandwich is real good too. If you like it spicy get the pickled veggies on there Cant go wrong with anything you get here. I'm here at least biweekly.

Came here in early October for some Chicago dogs. Mike's Hot Dogs is in a strip mall that has lots of businesses, and customers can use the very large, shared and free parking lot. Mike's Hot Dogs serves up various types of dog, such as Chicago, chili, corn, slaw, cheese, kraut, plain, chili cheese and chili slaw. It also has Polish, bratwurst, chicken sausage and veggie dogs. Customers can also choose pizza puffs, Italian beef and Italian sausage, and various sides. Customers can also order combo meals that include a drink and choice of side: potato chips, fries, tamale or potato salad. Customers go to the order counter to place their orders and pick them up at the counter when your order is called out. We felt like we were rushed during the ordering process, which was odd because we were the only customers in there at the time. Also, when we asked about some of the items on the menu, we weren't given good descriptions or suggestions. R and I each ordered a combo #1 Chicago Dog meal. R ordered a bag of potato chips with his meal and I ordered the fries. Drinks are self serve from soda beverage dispensers and tea dispensers. There are various tables and booths inside, and some tables in front of the restaurant in an outdoor patio with umbrellas providing customers shade. Overall, I felt that the restaurant could have been cleaner; many of the tables hadn't been wiped down since their last use, and, because of this, our choice of indoor tables to sit at were limited. I really liked the taste of the Chicago dog. It had all the necessary ingredients that make the Chicago dog a Chicago dog, including an all-beef hot dog, a poppy seed bun, a slice of tomato, a dill pickle spear, yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, pickled peppers and some celery salt sprinkled on top. The only thing that I would've changed about this Chicago dog was to add more tomato slices (there was only one on mine) and make them just a little smaller. Bigger tomato slices just seem to get pulled off of the dog with the first bite into the tomato. The French fries were perfectly fried and were just slightly crispy. I was actually confused by the catch-all display of everything they have on the walls. Much of it is Chicago-related, which I get, but many of the items aren't Chicago-related, so, to me, it has a souvenir-display-that-got-a-little-out-of-hand look.

Today I had the pleasure of having lunch at Mike's Hot Dogs for the first time in easily a decade. I'm not usually in the area but something about the gloomy weather and having the day off work made me want to take a jaunt over and have a Chicago Dog. Mike's is nestled in the corner of a booming shopping plaza in Sandy Springs. I made my way into the plaza and got a parking spot and headed inside. I was greeted with the most iconic "chicago eatery" decor I could possibly imagine. There were big booths on the left and small tables on the right. Each table had that classic 90's paint splatter look to them. When it was my turn to order I decided to stick to the hot dog because that's what made me come up here for. I could have easily twisted my own arm and gotten an Italian beef instead. There are 5-6 combos to choose from, and I opted for the #2 which consists of 2 chicago dogs, fries, and a drink. The cashier asked if I wanted them "all the way" which is an easy yes for me. The food came out very quickly and it was so delicious. I wish I lived closer so I could support mikes more often but it will have to remain a special treat when I'm in the neighborhood. Definitely give them a shot the next time you're in sandy springs!

Literally the best hotdog place I've been to. I decided to try the Chicago style and I really should've gotten two of them. Fries were fresh and hot, hotdog was great and customer service was amazing. I'll definitely be back for sure!

Sooo me and the ole lady was jus laying around thinking bout Christmas and what gifts we needed to wrap and got hungry. Now by both of us being Chicago natives we wanted a taste of home. So we got on google and found Mike's! And when we walked in the joint I was absolutely amazed! The Chicago vibe was definitely in effect! So much memorabilia of Chicago history was definitely in the presence! Only thing Mike, y'all need MORE Chicago Bears memorabilia! This place is definitely the place to be if your from Chicago and relocated to the Atlanta area! The food was BOMB! We definitely going back, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

I absolutely enjoyed the food here! I had the Chicago Hot Dog & a Chilli Dog. They were both amazing. The staff provided great customer service as well. I’ll definitely be back. Try the onion rings if you get a chance! They taste great!
