Went for a four person birthday celebration. The food was delicious as usual. The lobster roll was delicious and the deserts were amazing. Our server was very friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor covered seating. Will be back soon!

This was our first experience at rays on the river. We have recently moved here from Texas and it was our anniversary. We started with the goat cheese fritters, they were good but could have been hotter in temperature. We each had two dirty martinis which were excellent. I had the surf/turf special, my wife had the fish trio special. Both were good, not amazing. They offered us a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary. They ended up bringing us two, the praline and the lemon butter cake which is their specialty. I'm glad they did cause it was fantastic. We had an espresso martini with dessert that was fantastic.Our waiter was good, but for the price you pay not great. I think he had too many tables. Our first drink took much too long to arrive. After finishing an appetizer the plate with sticky pepper jelly sat on the table till the food arrived. When we didn't order wine, the wine glasses should have been removed and not there all night. We ordered a second drink with dinner, that came out half way through dinner. When finished with dinner our plates sat at the table for way too long, and we started to stack them and push them to the side of the table. The espresso martini came out for dessert but was well ahead of the actual dessert.We did not have a bad experience, but at $200 a person I expected better service. Been to many fine dining steak houses, service is so important, no one minds the amount you pay when the service is fantastic.

Lauren and David are now two of our favorite people. Lauren was in training and absolutely crushed it by providing phenomenal recommendations, wonderful conversation, and is such a light to the establishment! David was extremely knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and we loved seeing how incredible he was as a trainer. They were both hilarious and gave us such an excellent experience that we can’t wait to come back! We got the oysters (east coast as recommended by David), horseradish grouper, Hawaiian mahi, and the corn brûlée to share and everything was top notch! We relied heavily on both David and Lauren to guide us on what to order, and they most certainly did not let us down. We will be very impatiently waiting for our next opportunity to dine here, especially with the two of them in the building! They truly made for an unforgettable experience.Parking: The only negative note I have about our entire experience here is that the valet was very demanding of tips upon exit, but they did not park our car or retrieve it for us, and the one individual still went to great lengths to try to guilt trip us and made my boyfriend and I very uncomfortable.

LUCKY MITCHELL
This was our first time at Rays on the River and I loved it. We were seated at a table that gave us a great view of the river. Our waiter, Juan was great. He took the time to answer all of our question and the food was excellent. I had a half dozen oysters and the crab cake eggs benedict. I highly recommend both of those items. After our meal we took a stroll on the walkway by the river to top off a pleasant afternoon. We will definitely go back.

We arrived for brunch and it was not good. I have left a lot of reviews for restaurants and this one is not to flattering. Our server was not on point at all. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and he forgot. He forgot my date's magarita. Both were good,but he forgot them. She ordered french toast and one side was burned black. It came out with the good side up burned side down. I had the Thai chicken salad and it was tasteless.The dressing was like a light brown liquid water. The salad looke wilted with the dressing on it and tasted like eating salad straight out the bag. One busperson was pouring any liquid out of glasses into the bushes on the outside dining patio. We were totally amazed that he kept doing it when people left after eating. The french toast was recooked and was very good. The salad was really disappointing and time was wasted on one meal so I didn't ask to replace the salad. Overall maybe it was a bad day,but I don't plan to return.

I had a beautiful night at Ray's On The River. Our waiter Ken was amazing and attentive. Ken even gave us a little history lesson behind Ray's On the River and it's owner Ray. The food and drink were absolutely great and affordable. The musician singer was good and added to the ambience of the environment. The management staff was on point and interactive making sure each table was having an amazing time. When you get this level of attention at a restaurant your sure to come back. Loved, loved, loved it!

And the river river, OMG unforgettable!We came from Michigan and we travel a lot and this was one of the best restaurant we’ve been too. Their staff are a dream team, absolutely going above and beyond to accommodate.If I can give this location 10 stars, I would.
