This was our first time visiting Zafron and it was well worth it. The service was impeccable. Trinity made us feel very welcomed, and so did the manager. They both guided us on what to order and we were very happy with their suggestions. My sister ordered the Veggie Kabobs with the barberry rice and she ate it all up. She said the veggies were very tasteful and well seasoned. I had the wings and they were delicious and juicy. I must say that the atmosphere and the whole ambiance was very pleasant. We sat there and worked until they closed at 10pm.

Had our 2nd graduation party on May 11, 2024. Absolutely wonderful. From service to food to cleanliness. All our guest enjoyed the courteous waiters and smile on everyone’s faces. Even though we stayed beyond our time, they made us feel welcome. Thank you to the whole team as they made our memories, for the 2nd time, wonderful.

Simple lunch of salad with an app. Mirza was very good, came out warm and fresh. Naan was more like lavosh but not crunchy. Ordered Arugula salad and noticed a lot of romaine as base with some arugula added. Expected it to be primarily arugula. Some slivers of dates, goat cheese and grape tomatoes. Dates added a nice texture and taste but otherwise a basic salad. Arranged for a side of falafel and didn't mind the extra charge as wanted to add to salad for some crunch and hardiness. Not sure why they flatten falafel for cooking as I think they tend to dry out. Would have been nice if they included a little tahini sauce on side like salad dressing. Sumac dressing tasted mostly like a vinagrette. Had a wonderful dessert - not sure what it was as we were celebrating birthday and server brought but it was a chocolate mousse ball on top of a liquor saturated cake then covered in milk chocolate coating. Yellow custard-like sauce and fudge sauce drizzle on side enhance the whole presentation.

Absolutely great. Have been wanting to go here for years - before Covid - now we've already decided what to order when we go back. The food was distinctive and delicious - the spices used enhanced the flavors, and did not overwhelm. Everyone should go to Zafron and enjoy a delightful dining experience.

One of our favorite neighborhood haunts. Typically good food at reasonable prices, in a convivial setting. The staff is nice and attentive. If you're a Sandy Springs habituee, almost guaranteed to run into someone you know.

Good tasty food . The chicken was tender, moist and tasty. The rice is not basmati, some long grain rice with no aroma. The Green chili chutney was awesome.

This place charges extra on drinks. When I went there I ordered a Jerusalem mule the price on the menu said $13 and they charged $14. The food is extremely under seasoned. I had the lamb shank it was practically tasteless. I would not recommend this place. Overall 3/10

It was aesthetically very pleasing HOWEVER, the service was AWFUL!!! Leslie was our waiter, she was very rude and unpleasant when my friend wanted to share her opinion on what was good and bad about the dish, Leslie stated that she liked the food there because she worked there and she’s never had a problem with it. My friend was trying to be very respectful and not trying to degrade the food. She simply stated that she didn’t like how everything was mixed together, the chicken and the beef were mixed in the same sauce leaving an unpleasant taste. Leslie then replied with my boyfriend is Mediterranean and said “I don’t know what to tell you I think the food here is great”. My friend was upset with the responses she was getting from Leslie and she stated “Ido not like the way you are coming at me when I want to tell you is my opinion about the food” Then Leslie stated that if we were trying to get free desert or not pay for our meal. Leslie said “you have been complaint about the food the whole time and I’m trying to give you a free dessert.” The reason I am upset is because not once did she come by our table and ask how the food was, but at the end when we stayed we didn’t eat the beef because it tasted unpleasant Leslie acted rude and snappy towards us. During the conversation Leslie said things such as “I’m sorry you are taking what I’m saying that way”. We declined the “free dessert” multiple times because that is not what we wanted, however she still came with a to go bag of what I assume was dessert. Needless to say we left whatever she put in that bag on the table as that is not what we came for. The food was good besides the beef, however the service was awful. I would recommend either asking for a different waiter or not choosing this restaurant.

Excellent dinner and ambience was also very pleasing. Service was a bit slow but I attributed it to kitchen staff making sure orders were done correctly. I would suggest that at least one type of N/A beer be included on the menu.

Came here on a date with my sweetie and the ambience is delightful. We arrived almost right at the time they opened, which was a good thing because they filled up FAST! I highly recommend getting a reservation. We had the sweetest server who was attentive. And then the food came out. Oh my! We started with the cabbage wraps - I think I could just sit and eat those!! And then the salad came out, which was fresh and tasty. Then we had the main entrees- their steak is truly amazing, well flavored and oh, so well seasoned. We could tell that they definitely cook everything from scratch. Honestly, the best Persian food I've ever had.

Zafron was the perfect choice for my niece's birthday lunch (the 2nd year we have chosen Zafron for this). Excellent menu choices for all, including our vegetarian. We had a comfortable booth for four where we could enjoy quiet conversation. Special thanks to Melissa, our server, for her great care of our needs. And thank you, Zafron, for the chocolate mousse birthday treat!
