This bar has one of the most wholesome owners and is a welcome part of the Savannah community. This bar advocates for LLS and helps provide support for the charity while also running an amazing establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed the beverages, food, and atmosphere of this place and would highly recommend to anyone! Such a fantastic view of the river and easy access to everything downtown! What a great location and a wonderful example of what Savannah hospitality is all about! Highly recommend.

Wine bar 208 is a wonderful place for wine lovers to spend some time. The wine list is carefully curated to give you some unusual experiences and most of them at very reasonable prices. Every wine we tried was excellent, but without the recognizable names and associated prices. The owner exposes you to wines you may not regularly encounter, which is a huge bonus for me. Go there. It’s fantastic!

So glad we stopped in here. We had a very energetic Somm taking care of us at the bar area. We came during the week so there was only two other people there when we arrived. I inquired about the Somm Challenge they had and she explained that the way theirs works is you’re putting the wines in order from least expensive to most expensive. I won and got my name on the wall which was very exciting for me. Overall this one was one of the highlights of our trip and I hope to stop here again the next time I visit Savannah

208 Wine Bar boasts a superb location with breathtaking views, and their staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things wine. Their ability to impart their expertise and cater to individual preferences is truly commendable. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the existence of a white Malbec, even as someone who considers themselves a wine connoisseur.This establishment exudes simplicity, allowing their outstanding wine selection and well-versed staff to shine. I am eager to return and eagerly anticipate my next visit to 208 Wine Bar.

Definitely a great place to stop if you want a glass of good wine and a light snack. We stopped by twice during our stay in Savannah and had great service by the staff both times. They even helped us find some new wines we would not have tried otherwise that were quite resasonable. Would definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a glass of wine or to try something new!

Excellent BIG selection of wines! Lady was helpful although it seems like she needs more help (staff). She was going a thousand miles per hour talking yet would take long to come back to our table to check on us or refill our drinks.There was a nice man playing his guitar which made ambiance very nice!

I was actually surprised at myself for not reviewing and the one ding this place earlier. I am kicking myself for failing to highlight this establishment as one of the best wine bars in the coastal GA area. This location is a perfect stop while in Savannah. The owner Christina is a true blessing and her staff including Shannon and Patty are truly exceptional with their wine knowledge. They don't have a kitchen so don't go looking for food but they do have nice cheese snacks and small plates. The location on Bay Street is perfect and the bar area and seating area allows you get views of the Savannah river. The selection of wine choices is what really makes them stand out. They have flights so you can try multiple wines and the bottle list is absolutely able to handle ever palate that's out there. This definitely is a place you need to try. I attended and event this evening and that's where my photos came from. Come try this if you're a wine drinker!!!!
