The food is super expensive. I am Puerto Rican and the menu does not include one 1/3 of Puerto Rican food.

Had this amazing Cuban and plantains from the food truck when it was at Starland Yard. It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.

The Boricua Burrito and Cuban Sandwich are amazing. Just go there!!

I just moved to town and wondered where to get a Cuban sandwich . Low and behold, 787 is the place! The yucca fries and the dipping sauce are dangerously good. I could have easily eaten two orders but my sandwich filled me up! Great portions and super fresh tasting. The mango coleslaw needs a bit more spice to it though but it was also super fresh and tangy.

This place was so good! I've been wanting to try it for a while and we happened to be in the area so we popped on in. Parking is a little hard to find, only street parking is available. We sat down, and I noticed they had the square bar codes on the tables to access the menus. This was very easy. Our server was very friendly and fast. He brought us waters almost immediately. We ordered the empanadas to start. They came out piping hot! They were delicious! One order comes with 2 empanadas. For my meal I got the churrasco mofongo with rice and beans. I was very happy with my choice! I want to come back to get their plantain lasagna next and their cheesecake!

Delicious delivery experience: I ordered the grilled steak with rice and beans, side of yucca fries topped with pulled pork, and a goat cheese burger with sweet grilled plantains. It was all delicious and the meat was done perfectly medium rare. Even my husband who hates all restaurant food in Savannah said it was delicious - so, it was basically a miracle. Will definitely order again.

Happened in for lunch on a Saturday. It was just after they opened and it wasn't busy. We were seated promptly. Service was very good. We started with the pork empanada. It was tasty. Great crust, but not a lot of filling, and seemed over-priced at $8 (for 2). We've had the same with more filling for $4-5. Cuban sandwich was good — great bread. Chicken with coconut rice wasn't what was expected and mostly a miss (for us), but decently flavored nonetheless and lots of food on the plate. All-in-all, I thought it was OK. In hindsight, should have had the Mofongo. Hard to find in Savannah and it would likely have been better than the chicken and rice dish. Last, the sweet plantains was OFF THE CHART! Arguably, they were the best plantains we've ever had. It's really a 3.8 star review, but I will round up to 4-stars because the staff was nice and the service was very good, and the plantains were ridiculous. I hope to give it another shot at some point in the future.

I loved the vibe the place had. The food was great and the service was better. They even have heat at food for purchase. It was not the cheapest place but the food and service are well worth it.

Haven't been disappointing yet and I'm a hard critic! Food is fresh, made to order with fresh, local ingredients! Love the open kitchen!
