First of all: advertising works. I saw a page 2 ad for this place in a local guide and immediately sold my family on “this place looks like it has great gyros if you don’t mind a little drive”. We parked nearby and they sent me in to order lamb gyros, beef kabob and a chicken salad. The place is as other reviewers captured it but you need to go see it for yourself. Everything was made from scratch while I waited with a cluster of delivery pickup drivers next to a rack of Arabic groceries. We drove back North, parked on Jones St. and moved our next tour to have extra time enjoying the delicious food while admiring one of the most beautiful streets in the country. Zero complaints and lots of praise for the gyros, kabob and salad, all washed down with some mango Jarritos.Parking: Lots of free parking on nearby side streets. Drive down here for a breather from the historic districts if you rented a car.

This is our favorite place to grab food to-go. My husband always asks if it's early enough to get dinner here. We get it about once a week. Our favorite is the lamb gyro platter, with hummus and baba ganoush. It's served with pita wedges and a side salad. There's also always fresh baklava in a cake stand on the counter, to remind us to add a piece each to our order. As a plus, they have a small collection of hard-to-find ingredients for middle eastern cooking available for sale.Parking: Parking is on the street but we've never had a problem finding a spot within a block of the restaurant.

Authentic. Like, the owners are behind the counter cooking, authentic. Upon seeing my 3 year old, the owner stopped what she was doing and handed her two Hershey kisses in a -palm down-"down tell mommy"- grandma kind of way. Very endearing. The lamb was tender and seasoned well. The whole gyro was *chefs kiss* I could've eaten 12 of their pita breads. They had chicken fingers on the menu for my toddler, which I appreciated. They had a line when we arrived and a full room but luckily we were able to grab a tiny table and eat in house. Will be back.

A great experience, owner(s) are friendly and to the point with giving you amazing food, so what’s the complain about. Love the wall of classic Nat Geo covers. The place as a super NYC hole in the wall vibe and the food matches: super, super good.

Only had the lamb Gyro for the two times I’ve been there and they were great. The service was good but the atmosphere could be better, small, waiting area for a restaurant that gets the amount of business it does.

I got a chicken gyro with fries. There was nothing in the gyro but chicken lettuce and ranch. The food was not anything special and I was given sprinkle of cold fries. Definitely not worth the price I would advise you skip this spot.

The lamb in the gyro is some of the most tender and well flavored lamb I have ever had! Fantastic seasonings, grilled pita was wonderful. The baklava was homemade and perfect! Next time I will go with the gyro plate to try the hummus! The owner is a very kind and gracious
