We had dinner at Belford’s and it was more than just a meal. Our server Alex was exceptional and shared a lot of the local history as we chatted with him throughout the evening. The cocktails were outstanding (I had their specialty Candied Bacon Manhattan and my wife had the Flip Your Fig) and the homemade bread simply delicious. We split a filet mignon and the halibut for a little surf and turf that was outstanding. Finished things off with bread pudding for dessert. Highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed.

We had a very good meal here. Our server, Zhakyiah, was very attentive, supportive of a food allergy concern, and EXTREMELY pleasant. She did a wonderful job. Without a reservation, we were quickly seated; and sat outside on a busy night in the area -- so hard to comment on the ambiance since it was noisy outside. All meals were very good and good portions. Drinks came quickly. Prices are expensive, but that's expected for this high-end restaurant in the city market. Our server recognized a birthday with a free dessert as well.

Food was good. Service was great. My husband had the grass fed strip steak with lobster and I had the pan seared scallops with risotto. The restaurant was pretty fancy. The lobster was overcooked. Everything else was okay. Better than average but not exceptional.

Corned beef Reubens were delish, as were the shrimp and grits. Get the biscuits - you won't be disappointed. Bread pudding was wonderful. Service was great, but the kitchen was a little slow on this visit.

First Trip to Savannah with friends. We went to dinner at Belford's on Saturday night, March 9, 2024. We tried making a reservation the day of and was told that the reservations were full for that night but they would take walk-in's which the option to dine at the bar or on the patio. When we arrived they told us that they were wanting to slow down the kitchen and not able to seat walk-in's. After we explained that we called early and were told that we could dine as a walk-in, we were seated. Restaurant is really nice with exposed brick walls and modern fixtures. Our server was awesome. I asked about the pork chops, she indicated that they were very tender and juicy so I went ahead and ordered that. We all ordered drinks and calamari which were all good. Our entrees were soon delivered after that. One bite into my pork chop it was like biting into leather. I told my server that it was extremely dry and that I could not eat it. She offered me a replacement but by that time really didn't want to wait. The server said that she would talk to her manager about adjusting our bill for my meal. She returned and told us that the manager would only discount the calamari by 50% and I would still have to pay for the uneaten meal. I explained to her that I didn't want a discount on the calamari, we ate that and enjoyed it. I wanted the $48 pork chop meal removed from our bill. The Manager wouldn't budge nor would he come to our table to discuss. I cannot believe a restaurant would treat a patron like this. I realize that the manager doesn't care if I ever return back to the restaurant. But, I will share my experience with future guests. Also, the manager doesn't realize how this affects the servers' opinion of him and how he treats people. May Karma correct the wrong doing of others....#Alwaysdotherightthing.

I had a great experience at Belford's! It was a rainy day and my whole party was running a bit behind but they seamlessly accommodated us! Our server was excellent she was very attentive and didn't miss a beat. I believed her name was something like Kiki and she was from South Carolina! The food was good! The fried green tomatoes were tasty and so was the steak and eggs although the potatoes were a bit over cooked. One of the managers even came over to greet us inquire about what we were celebrating and complimented our "high fashion" which was a great personal touch! The restaurant is definitely esthetically pleasing! The ambiance was very calm and quiet during Sunday Brunch! I will definitely be back!

We visited Belford's for lunch Wednesday March 6 based on their Yelp review history. We are definitely glad we had lunch there. Our server, Katherine, was excellent. I had the shrimp Po Boy and my wife had the biscuit sliders. Both were excellent. I highly recommend them both. The outdoor patio was a great place to enjoy an excellent lunch!

Went here for lunch and enjoyed the shrimp, greens, and grits, as well as the crab benedict. Both were very good and fresh. Their take on bread pudding is also wonderful!
