First time here, on a Friday night. We made the mistake of coming for a special occasion (anniversary) and was really disappointed overall, mostly with the service. Don't expect ambience or attentiveness... hell it wasn't even that cheap. I'm really not sure why we went there. The poor server was having a terrible night all by herself, mixing up orders, forgetting things, dropping things, spilling things, putting different things on different tickets. I was served 3 things that were meant for another table. It was disorganized to say the least. The food came out very slowly. I ordered the sage gnocchi and was disappointed. Didn't taste like much but butter. Pizza was decent but I can't say we will be back. Hopefully they get more help!

Excellent food. Had 4 dishes and each was excellent and fresh. Real nice neighborhood bistro. Not fancy but server very attentive. Worth the trip.

Visited a few times, the food is never consistent. The last time we ate there, both mine and my wife's meals were way over salty and we had ordered different meals. We didn't finish either meal. The bread was the only thing on the table that was worth the trip.

We found this spot one night when we were craving some homemade Italian food! This is hands down the best Italian food in savannah! From the service to the food it is truly a 10/10. The owner is also awesome! We had the Mussells and Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer and the Mancotti , Chicken Parm , and Pesto Gnocci for our main course!

There was enough seating for everyone. Except my party of 7. We called ahead and asked to sit outside with our 3 dogs and 7 people, and were given the go ahead to come to the restaurant. Upon arriving, we were told that there wasn't enough seating for us? And not top of that, the only person in the restaurant serving customers told us that he didn't take our reservation, and if he had dogs, "he would just leave them at home." Savannah has been so dog friendly and warm up until now, and this experience ruined an otherwise charming Italian spot.

We made a reservation for outside seating, but when we arrived, there were not enough seats outside for our party. The employee was discourteous and made no effort to accommodate us. Very disappointing.

Spaghetti and meatballs were OK, the wine was not (probably from a bottle that has been opened for a while) and the place seemed really dirty and worn out. I question the cleanliness of the kitchen as a result. The place rarely has customers. They need to step up their game for sure.

Do not sleep on this neighborhood Italian joint. Food was FANTASTIC. We had fried ravioli's, which are filled with ricotta and herbs, the papperdelle Alfredo, which was fresh, made with fresh pasta, and so so good, and the spaghetti with meatballs, which was also perfectly made. I am not a huge fan of red sauce/marinara, because it is often too sweet, but the marinara here was to die for. Sopped up with the bread they bring to the table should be illegal.

We were here on a Friday night, and there were no delays due to a very efficient server / bartender. It's a small place, but cozy and pretty quiet. The prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty, with a choice of both spicy and mild dishes. The hot baked bread dipped in oil and vinegar certainly can tide you over until the food comes.

Lasagna was very good and creamy. Nice small restaurant. We were fortunate to meet the chef/owner which added to evening here.

Service was excellent, and prompt. Food was great. We got the fried ravioli for an app, and the stuffed shells, pesto gnocchi, and sausage rigatoni for entrees. I was looking over the bottle menu and Walter brought one out off the menu, and it was really good. Definitely will be back, the sweet potato gnocchi is on my list next.

Intimate Italian restaurant. Great food!! We ordered the lasagna and Pappardelle Alfredo (adding chicken). Everything was very delicious. The bread was very fresh, we enjoyed our salads, and the entrees we quite delicious! We did not have to wait long for our table, even though the restaurant was very busy!!There is no on-site parking, which is common in this area, but wanted to mention. At 7:30 pm on a Saturday, we had no issue finding a relatively close spot.

I went last night with my family. We had the worst experience ever. The owner created a hostile environment yelling at his employees. He yelled at our waitress. We heard a lot of yelling coming from the kitchen. One of the employees left crying from the kitchen. I would never come back. Our waiter was anxious in tears, we felt very sad for the yelling at her from the owner. Very sad experience

Two girlfriends & I spent 4 days in Savannah. We were trying to find an Italian place & came upon this place. Our Uber diver told us a lot of locals go there. It's a small place and plain, but the food was delicious. Service was slow, but that's because they only had one person, Susannah, who cleared the tables and was also the server. The ladies sitting at the table next to us told us service would be slow since Susannah was by herself, but well worth the wait. Yes it was worth the wait. Two of us had the eggplant parm and one had their chicken piccata. The tiramisu was amazing.

My husband and I have eaten here twice and we love it! It’s what I would call a hole in the wall for decor but the food and wine is authentic Italian! Chef has visited our table both times we visited! Taking some friends this Friday night, that has visited Italy as well, can’t wait for them to discover this hidden authentic Italian restaurant with us! The wine in the pic is awesome! Felt like we were in Italy again but only 15 minutes from home!
