If you are black this probably isn’t the best place for you. We were cussed out and called us out of our name. We were the only black people in there. Then they tell us to leave but said we can’t leave from the front like a regular person but we have to leave through the back. You can just tell we weren’t the type of people they wanted in their vicinity.

A classic American dive bar. Full of locals which is always a good sign and a good selection of beers and a fantastic selection of bourbons. The service here was excellent and kudos to Baylee, who ran the full bar by herself the entire time and stayed on top of everything including serving large groups of drunken tourists walking through the door at random times.What definitely surprised me, is the quality of food at this dive bar. Randomly, it's a complete Thai menu and based on how many takeout orders I watched, it's extremely well received by locals. I ended up ordering a Thai rice dish and it was outstanding. If you love a good dive bar and you're in the neighbourhood, this is a welcome break from the rest of the touristy bars in the neighbourhood.

Decided to come here after roaming around downtown Savannah and after I have to say this place was not it. The female bartender there (Asian with big eyelashes) was inattentive and rude. She looked at me and rolled her eyes at me then continued to be on her phone. I waited another 20 mins until a male bartender (I think his name is Dante) apologized and took over the bar pretty much. He was great. I ordered their ribs and let me say it was cold, stale, and unseasoned. The rice was burnt and tasted OLD. The music is so loud you can't hear anyone just barely holding up a conversation. Will not me back here unfortunately

Eh. Went in for late night bite to eat, and door man/bouncer shook down a friend of mine for $40 to let in one lady with the group of us 8 who did not have her ID with her. 40 year old lady with our group that were all well over minimum drinking age.I'd be OK if he wouldn't have allowed her in without her ID, and we all would have selected another establishment to spend our money with. However, pressuring someone in our group to give him a bribe is totally unacceptable. I learned of it after the fact.Service was ok, but no IPA beer available at all. The drink I selected as my second choice was incorrect, and I had to get that corrected by my own volician.Food selection was limited to almost solely Thai choices, which seemed odd for an American pub & grill. The food seemed to taste ok, but by the next morning, I had dysentery.Not too surprising after thinking about the cleanliness of the establishment to be far from acceptable.Maybe just one bad night for them? But there were enough issues that I won't give them another chance.
Drunken noodles, drunken me... not sure which was better! First we had great calamari and then I had the drunken noodles with a spice level of 8 with tofu. Yep they don't even offer it that spicy but I got exactly what I asked for and it was ! After a few cocktails we moved to the slot machine in the back and blew some cash but it was a good time! The atmosphere is casual and totally chill yet fun.

I went to boomys at night around 12 am. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of a Thai bar but I was absolutely shocked. We went in a big group and ordered a few appetizers which were great. My boyfriend and I ordered the pad Thai and shared. It was easily one of the best pad Thais I have ever had in my life. The portion was big enough for us to share and felt satisfied. Also the prices were cheap. We didn't order any drinks so I can't touch upon that subject but the food was great and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a late night meal.

Some of the worst service I’ve experienced. We literally sat down and the server acted as if she didn’t see us. Then we sat at the nearly empty bar and the bartender was acting as if we weren’t there. When I went up to her to confront her, she stated “oh I didn’t see you guys move over here”. It’s like they make it blatantly obvious that they don’t want to serve black customers. Even after finally getting served, the bartender was horrible. She after dropping off a drink she avoided coming over to us the whole time.

Food was very good the girl bar tender with the puff has a very bad attitude… acting like she doesn’t see me and my friend and just sitting on her phone and avoiding us… I came into town on a recommendation and she was so horrible when my friend confronted her she said “I didn’t see you “ even though I locked eyes with directly MULTIPLE times… anywhere you go you want to feel like a person and she made me feel like I was a problem just for being there the guy bartender noticed the energy and tried to recover the interaction but I will never returnFood is good though
