I had never heard of these famous cookies before so we ventured in and I was impressed with the Dutch oatmeal cookies. The lemon cookie was a little too sweet for me but those little cookies are big on flavor.

This place is very cool. I bought a small package of the Triple Chocolate and Key Lime cookies and both are amazing. If you want delicious cookies this is the place to go. Park is extremely limited but walking downtown is great.

Pretty average. Not your traditional cookie and I'm not sure how else I would classify them. Plenty of free samples are available which is nice. And putting your own box together is a good way to try a little bit of everything for a reasonable price. Don't know if I would go out of my way to get them again but figured I'd give them a try since I was in the area.

Talk about putting the B in Byrd's!! I went into this location tonight (01/18/2024) and the customer service was BEYOND AWFUL and flat out DISGUSTING! We were welcomed with a less than half-a**ed greeting, even though we were the only customers in the store! Next, after we tried to sample one of the cookies from, I guess not the sample bar (Who would've known, not us, and with no sign or insight since nobody decided to tell or stop us!), and we proceeded to get confronted and voice raised at by a worker named "Kelly" (With no last name of course, because she "Doesn't believe in last names)!!! She proceeded to tell us how she was now going to have to throw out the ENTIRE jar with the absolute worst attitude and hatred I have ever witnessed in the food and service industry. As someone who currently works in the food and service industry, this is COMPLETELY unacceptable! She claimed she was the manager, weather that is true or not we don't know, but no manager or ANYONE in their right mind should ever be speaking to a customer like that, especially when it was our first time in that specific store. The audacity she had to get in our face and speak with such hatred is beyond baffling and the actual managers (Who have enough sense to run the business properly) need to deal with her and her dismissal (Or at least a change in attitude and lesson on manners & customer service) IMMEDIATELY. Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you have a better experience than we did!!

Every time my family or friends catch wind that I'm headed back to Savannah, they all request the same thing - bring me a bag of cookies from byrds. Thin and crispy... perfectly delicious. I have trouble stopping once I start in on a bag. Love me some Byrds!!!

When in Savanah, Byrd's Famous Cookies is a must and a staple of the community. Being open decades and thriving, they have mastered their products. The thin bite sized cookies come in many flavors and even have a bar area to make your own assorted box for purchase. They key lime are heavenly!! We bought several packages to bring home from vacation with us! The staff were so friendly and the store has a welcoming, homey feel. Highly recommend!

They even have a sample bar - still trying to decide if that was nice or 'just plain mean!!'??Do yourself a favor, a must visit while in Savannah!!Parking: We walked there.
For all of the hype around the cookies, it was a bit of a letdown. For a chain they are amazing cookies but they are no 10/10. It was nice to be able to sample the cookies and choose the flavor that you liked the best. Cookies were a 7.5/10

Was a good experience going into this location. We got to sample some of the cookies and they were pretty good. Don’t expect a lot of these cookies to have frosting. They are not big in size and they come in bags of multiples as you cannot just buy one. If you like cookies and have a sweet tooth, I would say you should try these. The employees were nice. Would probably go back and recommend.
