Key lime cookies was a hit. You can go to the front counter and taste-test before buying.

Very cute store! You can try free samples of as many cookie flavors as you want before you purchase any. The staff was very sweet. Oat cookies and lemon drop cookies are so good!!

Cookies are delicious, not your typical cookie. They are tiny and crunchy but good in their own way. The worker wasn’t the friendliest person, seemed a little annoyed we were there but it didn’t hinder my experience much. We got a box and filled it with our way mix of cookies. Ate them all on the walk back to the car!

If you like thin, crispy, delicious cookies, this is your place! We got a fill your own box full of wonderful flavors including their 100 year old bourbon oatmeal recipe cookies! The staff was friendly and engaging, offering samples so we could pick our favorites! Grab a box of the cocktail crackers too!

My aunt had never been to Savannah and she wanted to check out Byrd's cookie store down by the river. It was cute little shop with their variety of cookies arranged nicely along the walls. There was an attendant at the sample counter allowing guests to try some of the different flavors they offer. I tried the key lime, Georgia peach and lemon. All three flavors were good, however the key lime was my favorite. They had a small variety of other merchandise you could purchase on the center display table. The checkout process was quick and easy. The sales woman was kind enough to inform me that since I was already purchasing 2 bags of cookies, I could add a 3rd back for only 10 additional dollars instead of $18. I appreciated her letting me know of the deal and of course grabbed another bag of the delicious cookies! We will definitely visit again in the future!

I visited the store, bought cookies and sampled several different flavors.Unfortunately, the cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste.

Got their rice krispy treats. Tastes like garbage! Over loaded with marshmallow- or something sticky at least- but can’t even take it! Only taste it has is a chemical like taste and rubber. Very mushy and soggy. Never again, I’m very disappointed.

Cookies!!!! Don't know if they rotate the selection but the day we were they they had 'about' 15 different cookies. Tried a couple and then bought a small box. My favorite was the Scottish Oat cookie. As soon as I took a bite my head was instantly back in my Grandmother's kitchen eating a cookie she had just baked. Can't vouch for most of the others as almost all of the box I bought was this kind. Have been motivated to search for a recipe....Yes, they are expensive considering how small they all are. But for me the memory was worth it..

The person working today was incredibly rude, and completely turned me off from even wanting a nice treat. Can't speak on the cookies, I'm sure they are fine. I came in to the store asking "Hi, so how does this all work?" and the response was "What do you mean how does this work, they are all there on the wall" in a stern tone. I turn around and see a station for selecting cookies of different kinds and bagging them up-- what I was clearly asking for clarification on. I walked right out of the store, as purchasing from the grinch was not on my itinerary for the day.

The cookies are really good but the store manager Joe was extremely rude to my best friend and I did not appreciate the way he was talking and whenever we confronted him he was even more rude.

Never have ate such tasteful and delicious cookies. My favorites were the peach ones as well as the key lime. Bought several jars, not only in Savannah but later in Charleston. They offer free samples. Also, their trade history is quite interesting.

A great Savannah souvenir. These cookies are a fun treat to take home. My favorites are the benne wafers (full of sesame seeds), salted caramel and key lime coolers. Many more to choose from and they let you taste before you buy.
