This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Delicious, creative (mix of southern and modern techniques), with some of the best produce + fish I've had. Get a reservation ahead of time. Menu changes all the time because it's farm to table. The waiters are super nice and knowledgeable too. The ambience is amazing, beautiful decor and all the food was coursed out nicely. Save room for dessert!!

Dinner was delicious, and the service was great. The ambiance was upscale, but also inviting. The kitchen uses locally-sourced ingredients in their dishes, and I appreciate that. We'll be visiting again.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Common Thread! Everything we had was delicious, but our favorites were the spring greens salad (amazing flavor profile) and the s'mores dessert. The chocolate mousse was simply incredible. We also got the hushpuppies and red fish and really enjoyed those as well. Our server was great, super knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu and when deciding on wine. We also loved the atmosphere - perfect blend of fresh/modern while maintaining the historic charm of the house.

Awesome venue in a great residential neighborhood. You walk in and immediately feel a very cool vibe in a palatial estate that clearly was an opulent residence at some point. The restaurant is meticulously kept, bright and very airy with great architecture. Food was equally impressive. My group opted for a pre-selected menu. The evening started with local scallops, flounder croudo, beets and hummus, all which were delicious. Main courses were also extremely tasty, with a mix of gnocchi, redfish and steak. Every plate that came was better than the last. I've never been a s'mores guy but their take on the s'mores dessert was dee-lish-is!

This a weird review because overall the food and service is excellent. I've been 4 times and every time I'm surprised by how unapproachable the menu is. I would like to say unique, but usually I don't know what the heck I'm eating (or ordering). Just a heads up if you have picky eaters this may not be the best spot.

Simply one of the best restaurants we've been to in Savannah! Great staff, very nice old house ambiance with a quaint bar area and great food!... It was our first visit to Common Thread, and it did not disappoint. Served family style, every dish we ordered was scrapped clean. The portions leave you feeling full with just enough room for their delicious desserts. We will be back!!!!
