Wonderful dinner! Our party of 6 had a variety of dishes, all of which were perfectly prepared and presented. Service at the bar and table was exemplary.

I’m a regular here and this had to have been the most wonderful experience with the most amazing risotto! There was the most lovely bartender Nat made an amazing mocktail and my server Ella was very accommodating. Would 100% recommend this delicious food!Vegetarian options: They offer tofu and can sub out most food items within the meal to accommodate for vegetarian patronsParking: Very good just try to limit the amount of cars brought for one party

They have fantastic seafood dishes and wide variety of menu. I had some dish with shrimp and the sauce was so good, I can't remember what it was called, but the shrimp were so big. My friend enjoyed the prime rib very much.

I had given this restaurant 5 stars 11 months ago, but I am changing it to 1. I've always had great experiences here, and at all of Ele's restaurants in Savannah, until tonight.I brought in a cake, paper plates and a cake server to have cake after dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday.I was surprised to see a $25 "cake fee" on the bill. When I brought it up and questioned it, I was told that the $25 is a standard "cake fee," and it could not be removed from my bill. There is a TINY mention of a cake fee (with no dollar amount) on the very bottom of the drinks side of the menu, and that was given as the reason they couldn't take it off, and that everyone who brings a cake is charged that fee. It is in very small font with all the other standard disclaimers...who reads those?? I didn't even look at that side of the menu, since I always order the same drink every time I eat there.I walked in carrying a cake, yet no one mentioned there would be a fee. We would have just saved the cake for later and eaten it at home, if we had been informed of the exorbitant cake fee. We didn't use any dishes or silverware that belonged to the restaurant, so we didn't cause any extra work for the staff. We even packed up the dirty paper plates to take out of the restaurant so the staff would t have to deal with it. We even offered a piece of cake to the server! The best that the manager could do was a 15% discount off the fee. Note: the manager wasn't even physically there...I had to talk to her over the phone. Maybe if there was a manager in person who was actually training people, this would not have happened. Also, the server didn't clear any of the appetizer dishes or drink glasses, so we ate dinner with dirty dishes all over the table. It's unfortunate that a place that serves such wonderful food doesn't treat their customers better.I expect more from this restaurant group that has so many fabulous restaurants in Savannah. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Worst experience ever! Many had recommended this place and we really like all the restaurants in this group so we decided to give it a try for Tuesday night dinner. We arrived at 8 pm and decided to seat outside. We sat and ordered drinks and started noticing spider webs and spiders in the ceiling. You could see them coming up and down everywhere, we counted at least 20 different sizes (some really big). I am arachnophobic and felt extremely uncomfortable so we required to seat inside, no one working in the restaurant seemed to care about the spiders, they had not even noticed, one almost landed in our appetizer that was already being brought to us when we were moving inside, I had to point it out to the waiter who moved the plate and that prevented the spider getting into our plate. Finally inside, they sat us at a table that had two dirty glasses (which were never picked up from the table). We got our tumeric mussels for appetizer (don’t recommend them) we asked for extra bread, they brought it to us 20 minutes later when the mussels sauce was cold. We ordered a bottle of wine that we had to pour ourselves throughout dinner, we asked for water and got it until the end of dinner. The restaurant was empty, and still service was terrible, there were about five servers all chatting around the bar at all times. We had the current noodles, added shrimp and got it to share, they brought the plate without an extra plate to share and took long to bring it to the table. I am so disappointed of this place, as I mentioned, this restaurant belongs to a group of restaurants and all others are amazing, no clue what happened with them. I definitely do not recommend Current Kitchen

Just ate at Current with my family. One of the specials for night was Sea Bass with there signature red curry sauce. The bass was tender and juicy. It melted in my mouth and the red curry sauce was wonderful. My wife got the forbidden rice which she loved. The service was great the waiter was attentive and made great suggestion. The setting of the restaurant was wonderful. You know it's cool when you have to walk over a bridge to enter the restaurant.

We have been here many times and we keep coming back because the food is that good. Unfortunately tonight, and several times before, the service is just not good! It took our waitress over 30 minutes to take our food order. After we got our appetizers no one came to ask if we needed anything so we had to sit there for over 10 minutes waiting. We had no plates, no sauce, or anything else we wanted. I watched my drink sit on the bar for over 15 minutes getting watered down while people brought all the other drinks out and not mine. Our waitress was MIA just about the entire meal and didn’t seem to care which really sucks because we love coming here. The food is honestly the only reason I would go back. The service is terrible and no one there seems to care about that.

The snapper risotto was unreal! Friendly staff too. The woman at the front desk was lovely.

So the food here is always awesome. But the cushions absolutely need to be cleaned. The service was very slow but I’ll come back again for the food.
